Specialties

Dr. Sreelatha K Krishna has the following 2 specialties

  • Pediatrics

A pediatrician is a doctor who specializes in the regular care of children, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of illness in children. Young patients are often more complicated to treat because they are still growing and developing.
While pediatricians may sub-specialize in specific therapy areas like oncology, surgery, ophthalmology, and anesthesiology, in general, pediatricians provide services like vaccinations, health exams, and treatment of common ailments and injuries. In addition, pediatricians are trained to handle the complex emotional and behavioral issues faced by children, especially during puberty.
Pediatricians normally see their patients from birth until the age of 18, although some may agree to treat patients into their early 20s, if requested.

  • Internal Medicine

An internist is a physician who focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of conditions that affect the adult population—both acute and chronic.
These doctors are often who adults see as their primary physicians because they treat a broad range of illnesses that do not require surgical or specialist interventions. They also work to help a patient maintain optimal health in order to prevent the onset of disease.
In addition to treating the common cold and flu, internists also treat chronic diseases like diabetes and heart disease.

Dr. Krishna spent ample time with me to thoroughly understand the reason for my visit and all of my background / medical history. She asked a lot of questions and seemed genuinely interested in helping me improve my health and manage my chronic health challenges.

She is very easy to talk to. My daughter's 17 and this is her first "grown-up" doctor so it means a lot that she is easy to talk to :)

Fired By My Doctor

I would like to thank Dr. Krishna, even though last year she kept saying that she was failing me I do credit her with saving my life. The ladies in the office and the lab are wonderful. The office manager is rather rude, well no she's extremely rude but luckily she doesn't practice medicine. I recently found out that I was fired by Dr. Krishna because I had received an RX for xanax from another physician when I could not get in to see her or another physician in the office and had been sick for 2 weeks. I believe that I have now been labeled a drug seeker which I believe is completely wrong. I do still have major health problems that I am going to need care for and I'm pretty worried about who is qualified to treat me. I wish they could have at least recommended a doctor or practice instead of just saying you can't come here.
