Dr. Stanley Mark Fineman, MD

The other negative reviews here are spot on. Please reconsider scheduling with Dr. Fineman. I made this appointment because I had a medical issue starting to resurface. I made the appointment immediately but could only get into the first available, three weeks later (There was a condescending tone to the question "why did I wait so long to come in?"). When I arrived at my appointment, I waited an hour to see him (first appointment of the day). Why schedule an appointment at 8 a.m. if you don't plan to see patients until 9? My time is also valuable. The staff at the front desk was less than friendly. Once I was brought back to the room, his nurse was wonderful and kind. When I explained my current issue and my medical history, I was brushed off as if I were making the whole thing up because I was not experiencing symptoms at the time of the appt. I was treated as a waste of time and told there was nothing to be done. I spent 1.5 hours only to have an aggressive… conversation with someone. Great way to start the week! I have never left a doctor's office feeling the way I did. There are plenty of other providers in the Atlanta area, please look elsewhere.

Very thorough during my appointment

Feel like I left with more questions than answers ??. Told him what was going on with our little guy but he didn't really look for answers to those questions. Felt like he didn't really listen to us at all.

I came for a non-anaphylactic insect allergy. Other staff at atlanta allergy were attentive and respectful. Dr. Fineman was dismissive and repeatedly silenced my concerns in an abrupt and non-caring way. I was treated as if this appointment was a waste of his time and I left feeling disappointed, frustrated, and disrespected. I would not suggest scheduling with him if the issue is not life threatening, otherwise it will not be taken seriously and your concerns will not be addressed or acknowledged.

The office staff was wonderful, but Dr. Fineman was condescending, curt, and dismissive. The list that he gives of substances to refrain from prior to scratch testing is not complete if one looks on other allergists' websites. He did not review, nor care about, decades of history and made many false assumptions which could cause me actual harm if I were not so educated myself. He provided no help or relief whatsoever. His conclusions were based on ridiculous generic presumtuousness which did not apply to me at all! He offered nothing clinically sound just in case I end up with anaphylactic shock again, as I have in the past. Dr. Fineman seems to have not kept up with journal articles related to a clinical presentation such as mine. More importantly, he had no interest in delving into anything at all which might help me during these terrible spring allergy seasons I have experienced since moving south. I have never written reviews before but I am hoping to protect others.

Absolutely phenomenal physician.

I went to Dr Fineman with something that he had not experienced before, an allergy to aspirin. To most people it might seem like a very easy allergy to manage....just avoid aspirin!, but if you look into it further you begin to understand the difficulties with this! Dr Fineman spent the time to understand the issues with Samters Triad and researched this further to push forward to do what he could to help me with my problems. I would recommend Dr Fineman to all that have had issues with their allergies and have had no joy with their resolution! He will do what ever it takes to help you because he cares!

Dr. Fineman is a caring, knowledgeable physician. He was kind to my son and my child is now able to participate in sports. Prior to the testing/allergy shots, he stayed on the sidelines watching his friends.
