Dr. Sicher graduated from medical school at UT San Antonio, followed by a three year internal medicine residency at UT Southwestern in Dallas, working at Parkland Hospital and the Dallas VA hospital. Dr. Sicher then completed a four year fellowship in nephrology at UT Southwestern. After fellowship Dr. Sicher joined the nephrology faculty at UT Southwestern; his activities on the faculty included research in transplant immunology, and attending on the internal medicine, nephrology and transplant services. He moved to Pueblo in 1997, joining Southern Colorado Nephrology.
