Dr. Stanley Francis Stockhammer Jr, DO

Been a patient for this practice for a long time had Dr. Rose who was excellent she left the practice now I have Dr. Helinski and I cannot seem to get an authorization for the medication that I prefer for diabetes authorization. They would rather not take the medication so it’s time to search for another doctor because I am not playing this game with this office. It takes five minutes to fill out an authorization form and fax it to my insurance company and they refuse to do so and would rather me take a medication that makes me feel ill. That’s real good patient courtesy isn’t it

This is the absolute worst Dr. Office I have ever been to in my entire life. Dr. Rose is good, but the staff is terrible. Incompetent, rude, no training on how to work with people. No skills. Someone is going to get sued for the way they behave, it is that bad. Wait times are as if your at a theme park, no reception so you just sit in a room with no windows and have no idea what's going on, 45 minutes later you might get your vitals taken.

My kids was assign to this Dr, and everytime I called to make their appointment I would called and it was always hard to speak with someone, because the phone would ring., and someone finally answers she would collect my information, and say I will call you back. And I never get a call back. This is a horrible to run a business. The front desk clerk shouldn't be working there.

The place is disgusting. The office is dirty. The staff is not friendly. They have more students working there then employees. The students are in the medical paper of patients files. Some nurse there are not even certified as Medical Assistant. It is possible the worst office in VOLUSIA COUNTY! Do not bring your family or kids here, look else where do no waste your time for a 10:00 appointment time you will wait four hours.

Office is very nasty and takes hours to be seen! AVOID!

I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR A REFERRAL FOR OVER THREE WEEKS. YOU CALL AND THEY TRANSFER YOU TO THE A PHONE NO ONE PICKS UP AND THE MESSAGE SAYS THEY WILL CALL YOU BACK. NOT. IN THE MEAN TIME YOUR SYMPTOMS GET WORSE. I REALLY DON'T THINK THEY CARE. I AM CHANGING DOCTORS TONIGHT.

They are a complete joke . I have been going to that office for like about 2 yrs . They schelude appointment for which you sit for hours waiting, the Pa Catherine who we see laughed in my face when I questioned referrals that never got schelude. It is so bad that after I threaten an attorney a referral was made for next but the condition seen for was thigh and lower back. I even dropped a letter to dr stockhammer who never acknowledge the letter .they are very rude if you confront them. I don't intend to use their service as you could die before getting proper medical treatment and referral

I have been to Dr. Stcokhammer's office many times, I never saw Dr. Stockhammer I only saw physician assistants I had a new PA every time I went in. The waiting room was small and crowded sometimes it would be so crowded that it would be hot in there and people had to stand outside. I had to wait atleast an hour or more before I was seen. I was sick for a couple of months the PAs that I saw there took labs and said I wasn't sick they refused to treat me or give me a referall to see a specialist and the lab was messy and disorganized I worried about cross contamination. So as soon as I could changed doctors I found out by another docor that I had an infection and required antibiotics. I should not have had to wait so long to get treatment. I would not recommend this doctor's office to anyone.

If u r looking 4 a good doctor this is not the place 4 u or ur family. they r not the brightest light in the room. they r so focused on not giving people what they need that they r not showing the care that u r suppose to get from a doctor and staff. People come to them sometimes with pre existing conditions and have been on specific medications (and that work just right 4 u and ur condition) but they come and tell u that they r not going to prescribe that medication, previous files from tthese ing or have not been done or even recieved doctors files/notes. I will never take my family to these unhelpful people. Oh, and nurses change regurlarly no one stays for career.
