Dr. Stefani La Frenierre is a Psychiatrist (Medical Doctor) dedicated to providing a warm, empathic, and active therapy style to help ease you into treatment while working with you to achieve your goals. 

She believes in educating her patients every step of the way to help guide treatment decisions and to maximize the benefits of your work together.

Dr. La Frenierre started Resiliency Psychiatry and Addiction Treatment to provide a holistic, evidenced-based approach to the wellness and recovery journey.

 She utilizes a holistic approach to help you build long-lasting changes and resiliency so you can achieve a balanced and fulfilling life. She incorporates prescription medications, plant-based diet changes, lifestyle changes, talk therapy, and elements of mind-body medicine into a complete treatment plan to help you reach your goals.

Dr. La Frenierre has an expertise in the treatment of PTSD, veteran and refugee populations. She has performed in several leadership positions, including Medical Director of an addiction treatment group practice and as Chief Resident during her training. She also received the Resident Award in Excellence two years in a row during her training. She was also awarded the SAMHSA Minority Fellowship award through the APA and developed a Cultural Competency curriculum for her residents in training.
