Dr. Stefanie L Davidson has the following 1 specialty
An ophthalmologist has the training to do much more than just prescribe glasses. They are physicians specially trained to diagnose and treat disorders of the eyes and vision. These doctors are experts on the complicated anatomy of the eye and are trained to treat eye diseases through both medical and surgical methods.
Some common conditions that ophthalmologists treat are cataracts, glaucoma, strabismus, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration and amblyopia. In addition, ophthalmologists can provide prescriptions for eye glasses and contact lenses and perform LASIK surgery and other corrective surgeries for refractive errors like myopia (near-sightedness), hyperopia (far-sightedness), astigmatism and presbyopia.

My visit to Dr. Davidson was the worst I have ever experienced. The interaction with the office manager upon our arrival should have told me that I was in for trouble. The rude woman asked my wife why we were there and where our referral was. My wife explained that we have been taking my daughter to pediatric ophthalmologists since she was 12 months old and have never needed a referral. Our insurance is good and no referral is needed, not that the grumpy, unhelpful person bothered to ask. (Just a suggestion, but they may want to clean the carpets at least once every three years.) We arrived 15 minutes early as they suggest and we still waited 45 minutes to get into a room. Almost all of the people who arrived after us were seem first. After finally getting to see the doctor's assistant and doctor, we quickly discovered that their practice is all about speed. I would have thought that since this was my daughter's first visit to this doctor she would have taken more time to get to know about her and her condition, but I was wrong. We felt like more of an annoyance that patients. After 2 hours and 45 minutes the appointment was finally over. I think a safe estimate of time spent with Dr. Davidson was about 8-10 minutes. I am never going back there again.
