Dr. Stephanie A Brazus, MD

In my personal opinion, you do NOT want to go here. Dr. Brazus’ office is especially hard to get into. Often appointments have to be booked months and months in advance. I was having issues and needed to go in, but the staff was rude, unprofessional, and highly unconcerned. Usually Dr. Brazus is late anyways, which is another issue in itself, but this specific issue has to do with her staff. While I understand that Covid-19 has made for some changes, this specific practice did not handle the situation well. After waiting months and months to go in, I received a call from her office. I was told that they had to move all non-essential appointments. I expressed my concerns, seeing as I hadn’t had a period in over a year and was dealing with massive weight gain. The staff member then asked if I was pregnant. I said I was not and she then told me I was non essential. Without asking for additional symptoms or even looking into the issue further, she told that they would have to move my… appointment two months. They then called later that day and pushed my appointment even further back. It was then that I called another GYN that I had a connection to through my sister. After asking me about my symptoms and my lack of period, they got me in for an ultrasound the same week. Turns out I have PCOS and had developed cysts in my ovaries. When left untreated, PCOS can increase a woman's risk for endometrial cancer, type 2 diabetes, and infertility. I am currently being treated for this condition. Due to the unprofessional manners/attitudes of the staff, my diagnosis was delayed and my health put at risk. I could not in good faith ever recommend this practice due to their lack of care for their patients.

She is very down to earth. Professional yet she doesn't act superior. She has great bedside manner; sense of humor, confident, compassionate. I feel like a partner in my treatment because she hears my concerns and responds accordingly. I love that she doesn't push too many interventions or procedures on me. I like things simple. My husband and I have developed a great patient/doctor relationship with Dr. Brazus. I wouldn't think of using another doctor! She's fabulous! Too bad this is my last baby. She's made having babies enjoyable!

Dr. Brazus has been my doctor for about 8 years now. I started seeing her when I was 17 for my endometriosis. She has always went above and beyond for me. She's taken care of some of my other health issues not related with obstetrics and gynelogical. And when I had a miscarriage last year, I went into surgery for a D&C and she even went into the OR with me and held my hand until I was asleep. And she was amazing throughout my entire pregnancy. I just delivered 5 weeks ago, unfortunately she was not on call when I went into labor, and I truly was heartbroken that I didn't get to experience the birth of my daughter with her.

Dr. Brazus has performed two c-sections on me. She is an amazing doctor who I trust completely. She is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humor. I wouldn't go to anyone else. I highly recommend this doctor to anyone.

Dr. Brazus has been my ob/gyn for 8 yrs. She delivered my daughter, and saw me through with my son (she wasn't the delivering doc). I've read the other comments posted and felt I needed to say that no one is perfect, but she is an excellent Doctor, who will work hard for you and with you. She has your health and your baby's health at the top of her priority list. It may be difficult to get an appt. and you may have to wait for that appt., and at times she may be in a rush. Overall, Dr. Brazus is a wonderful physician!

Being a female is complicated in itself, but add getting pregnant, carrying the child, and delivering it...UGH! Dr. Brazus was with me 100% of the way! Her bedside manner is one where you truly get to know her, and she get's to know you. She was so personal with me and my husband, very thorough and communicative. I also have to give a shout-out to her Ultrasound Tech, Renee. She is extremely talented. Between Dr. Brazus and Renee they saw an issue in-utero with my daughters kidneys that saved her life! I know that this field can be exhausting, but you never made me feel like you weren't so excited for us and looking out for mine and the baby's health....even though I gained 1,000 lbs. with each! :) Keep it up!

Dr. Brazus was the doctor on call when I went into labor with my son. I was nervous to have someone other than my regular obgyn, but she was excellent, even better than I think my regular doctor would have been.
