She and her staff are very nice and attentive - quick to respond to portal questions, too! I feel well-cared for.

Dr. Cody needs to remember the Hippocratic oath. She automatically assumes an implicit/self defined negative stereotype and profiles people that fit that bill as drug seekers/abusers. I have been prescribed to a controlled substance to treat severe anxiety for over 10 years. I have an established medical history with Dr. McKenzie and other specialists for this disorder. About a year ago, I was told by Dr. Cody that she would no longer prescribe my medicine to me without explanation and was referred to “psych services”. She gave me one more refill with no titration plan and no follow up on my transfer to another prescribing physician. Had I not been proactive in finding a new provider; serious effects from suddenly not taking this medicine could have occurred including seizures and death. She also is very hesitant to prescribe normal medicines (also with established medical history). Dr. Cody is more worried about herself and her image than the health of her patients. She has been a… terrible addition to this clinic since the departure of Dr. McKenzie and would not be surprised if she finds herself in a malpractice suit. I would not recommend becoming a patient.

Dr. Cody is a wonderful health provider my family I are so grateful to have found her and her staff.....She is so down to earth and your care is the #1 thing

I called an ambulance to transport my husband to the hospital after he spent 3 hours lying in our living room floor, in agony. His back went out on him and he was unable to get up. The ER was crowded and he was placed in a hallway and waited for a couple of hours before being seen. Dr. Cody walked in, jacked the stretcher up into an upright position, and poked on his back for about 20 seconds. She asked a couple of questions and left. Abou an hour later, he had not received anything for pain and had not been given any information concerning a treatment plan. I went to the nurse's station twice and he finally received 2 hydrocodones and discharge papers. She spent about a minute-total- with him, did not bother to do any diagnostic testing, and refused to put his stretcher down when he told her he was in extreme pain sitting up. He nearly fell twice upon discharge. He spent the entire weekend in misery. His PCP could not believe the ER didn't do a MRI or give him a steroid injection to… relieve his pain. This woman should NOT be practicing medicine. She does NOT care about patients. The security guard showed more empathy for my husband than she did. She showed absolutely no compassion, even though it was obvious that he was in extreme pain. She doesn't even deserve one star.

Dr. Cody never took a second to introduce herself or even attempt to listen to what my symptoms were. She basically walked into the room took a look at me and pressed my belly area to see my reaction, I flinched out of severe pain and brushed her hand to which she said: "Don't touch me." I've never felt more uncomfortable in my life in an ER, after that she left the room and slammed the door. I was in shock because I've never seen a doctor treat any patient like that before. She also failed to mention any plan of care to me, so I basically sat in the room for about 3 hours before an ultrasound technician came in. To say the least the ultra sound was so painful I was in tears afterwards, and I tried calling for a nurse to come to the room. A nurse answered over the room intercom and asked me what was going on, I explained to her I was in a lot of pain and had no idea what my treatment plan was going to be, or any idea of what was going on. The nurse said she would send in the nurse… assigned to my room. I waited another hour before having my husband go out to the nurses' station to ask for help, and basically they said they would get my nurse. At least another 45 minutes went by before I even saw my nurse. At this point I've been in the ER for about 5 hours and only seen one staff member. The nurse was quite empathetic and said she would speak to the doctor. Well, a couple more hours went by before they ordered any medications, and I still had no idea what my treatment plan was. At this point I was in tears, hopeless of finding any comfort or help by going to the hospital. I get it they're extremely busy all the time and probably have patients in worse condition than myself, but the treatment was just awful... I was better off at home in miserable pain than being treated. Eventually, Dr. Cody came back in and just like before stated what she wanted and didn't even wait for me to ask any questions, and again slammed the door in my face. I was so ashamed, and so uncomfortable with her. She is probably the most insincere and uncaring doctor I have ever met in my life. I do not recommend.

Dr. Cody is a wonderful Dr. and I wish all Dr.'s could be like her. She is amazing.! I would recomend her to anyone.
