Dr. Stephanie Allison Giannandrea, MD

I have seen other therapists for more than 20 years of my life. I was misdiagnosed and took the wrong medicines for years. I felt hopeless, depressed and sluggish. After several visits Dr. Giannandrea was able to accurately diagnosis my mental health issues and get me on proper medication. She has worked diligently to help me and knows about the latest medications. She works tirelessly with my insurance to ensure I am allowed to take the newer meds.

I suffer from chronic depression, BPD and PTSD. After reaching crisis, I was referred to Dr. Giananndrea. I was told she was the best in her profession and was a bit skeptical until I met her. Sure enough, I felt immediately comfortable and safe opneing up to her and describing exactly what was going on. Rather than give me a strange look as most others do, she seemed to have heard stories and recountings similar to mine and was able to move me in the right direction for treatment. I still struggle with my conditions, but she has patiently worked with me to find a solution that works for myself and my family. I feel very blessed to be her patient! I have recommended her to several friends and will continue to do so in the future!

Dr. G was kind and attentive in our initial intake appointment, and she was also competent and knowledgeable. She had my confidence almost immediately and I was glad that I had decided to go to a specialist instead of continuing to try to manage my condition with my primary care doctor (who is also great, but not a specialist in this particular area). Highly recommend.
