Dr. Rothman is great. She spent the first 10 min of or visit familiarizing herself with everything that had happened to me. she then conducted a very through evaluation. better than the 5 or so other neurologist I have seen. she found things that other doctors had missed. she seemed to have a lot of empathy for what i was going through and really wanted to help me.

Dr. Rothman started her exam by familiarizing herself with my condition. She went in depth and agreed with my referring Dr on the treatment for my illness. For my exam with her she first went over what she would be doing then checked with me periodically to make sure I was ok. I found her to be very professional, caring and knowledgable.

Poor bedside manner, with limited empathy.

I am shocked by the negative reviews regarding my neurologist Dr. Rothman, it seems to me that some people are bitter and bad patients. I have nothing but good things to say about her. She is so kind, sweet and professional. She even called me personally a few weeks after our initial visit to check in and see how I was responding to the medication she prescribed. I have seen multiple specialist regarding my condition and they only confirmed the information that Dr. Rothman gave me. She is on it. If you are reading this review, you, like me, are probably in a pickle in terms of health and life. Having to go to "Neurology" is pretty salty stuff. In such times, it is people like Dr. Rothman that make all the difference, they are incredible in supporting us and helping us live through this terribly beautiful life. I recommend her as a neurologist and as a person.

Dr. Rothman does not know how to accept apologies or misunderstandings, which then she chose to loose her patience, treat me mean until she had me in tears. Moving forward. No patient deserves to be treated in such a matter that they feel helpless like a little mouse with a big elephant backing them into a corner and won’t let up. I was 7 minutes late due to I was in line waiting to sign in not my fault, I was early as I tried to explain to her, she just kept beating me up about it! What she did not no that the nurse had told me that they took the patient that was next after me and took them in first and I take her appt and no worries. So it didn’t affect the dr’s time per nurse the Dr put me on blast. The neurologist should of been going over my brain MRI which should of been her # 1 priority and my seizures. When I asked her about it she said what MRI ? I said the one that you said you were going to go over on this appointment, that made her even upset even more and again she… brought up being late again which I said I already apologized it was not my fault as tears running down my eyes she brings up the MRI on her screen and I said I’m not going to take this abuse you’re being mean I’m not gonna waste anymore of your time and I removed myself from the hostile environment she chose create and handle the whole situation. I suffer from depression and severe anxiety disorder and she gave no respect to my condition and I had a relapse because of the way I was treated by her. The sad part of it all her watching me leave in tears knowing how hurt and upset I was she didn’t care. That tells you a lot about a Dr. I wish I would’ve read the reviews before I went to her. She is not patient or kind and can turn in seconds if you misinterpret something or misunderstand. So just a warning. You will be blamed for it, and she will State you’ll need to see a neuro psychotherapist!!

I when to see this Doctor because I was referred to her by my primary Doctor whom I’m sure didn’t know how she was , so I was there not by choice, she was very unprofessional, rude, and unethical whit me as patient, in the tree times that I have seen her, she has never took the time to evaluate or check any of my symptoms to verify nor improved my health so if you have someone that can help you to find a neurologist PLEASE DON’T see this Doctor for your own good

Not up to the task

She yelled at me when I asked how I could avoid stroke in the future. According to Rothman, I was 2 years too young to concern myself with avoiding stroke. Hard to believe a physician could behave so badly.
