Dr. Stephen David Beck, MD

I had 2 surgeries done by Dr. Beck for bladder cancer. At 3month scope after 1st surgery he said everything was all clear, and when I asked to see the surgery site, there were more tumors! At scope after 2nd surgery, he came in and had no idea what was going on or what the past history was. Left the room and came back to find more tumors just barely inserting the scope. I immediately got a new doctor and found out at a more thorough scope that there were over 20 bladder cancer tumors and now some were high grade instead of low grade I would not recommend Dr. Beck for cancer treatment.

I called from 8000 miles away with an emergency and 3days later I was recovering. The whole staff are some of the nicest people. This doctor makes you understand and accept any problem then works hard to solve it. His skill is noticeable from the moment you interact with him. Thanks Doc

Have seen Dr. Beck off and on following a cancer diagnosis. He and his group are second to none when it comes to treatment of the type of cancer I was diagnosed with. What has been a very pleasant surprise though is how approachable Dr. Beck is - if I thought initially I would be treated by a very highbrow doctor with an ego to match his reputation I was dead wrong. He is very pleasant, always takes the time to explain things to the patient and treats you like a human being and someone whose outcome matters to him. Can't recommend him or his group highly enough. If you've recently been diagnosed with cancer and you want the best level of care, give some serious thought to his pioneering group at IU Medical Center.
