Dr. Stephen T Dudick, MD

I have known and been a patient of Dr. Dudick for many years. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2000, I wanted to be sure he would work with my breast surgeon. My surgery was performed with little discomfort and I have recommended him to several friends. He always finds the time to speak to his patients regarding their diagnosis and treatment. He always had a wonderful reputation for childrens injuries and burn victims. Statements written several years ago prompted me to write this review.

When I suffered a serious gash to my head from a fall, I was transported by ambulance to Cape Regional Hospital in South Jersey. The wound was 6 inches long with half of that on my forehead. There was no plastic surgeon on staff in the ER, and the doctor on duty wanted to sew me up and move on to the next patient. Fortunately I had the wherewithall to go to another hospital in Atlantic City where Dr Dudick was on-call. He spent 2 1/2 hours meticulously suturing the wound with 75 stitches and doing an amazing job. My insurance did not cover the entire cost, but Dr Dudicks office could not have been more accomodating. When I told them that I could only afford $40 a month to pay the balance, they could not have been more understanding and professional. Every time I look in the mirror I am grateful that this doctor took care of me.

This was a nightmare. He didnt do my nose right now I have to go to another doctor, he was totally wrong on what was wrong wiht it. And the doctor I went to said it looked like a nose from a new grad even though this guys been a doctor for years, my nose actually looked pretty huge after cant wait to get reconstruction.

It seems that Dr Dudick is driven by greed alone, and not helping his fellow human beings, he only accepts cash. He doesn't accept insurance from his patient's, but does not let them know until after the surgery is done than you get a bill in the mail for thousands of dollars. Sounds as though he is trying to hide from the IRS by only accepting cash as payment. This doesn't sound like a reputable Doctor in my book. Be warned before you schedule a surgical proceedure with him. D. R.Souht Jersey
