Dr. Stephen E. Kaufman, MD

Dr Kaufman has been my doctor for 35 years. He's very professional, direct and to the point. He's always given me options as to how my treatment would go, he'll present facts about the options, and give you his recommendation. Final decision is always your choice. I will stay with Dr Kaufman as long as he still practices medicine.

I saw Dr. Kaufman after having months of stomach bloating, pain and discomfort. After some questions and a full examination he was thorough and said we are trying some changes. He is kind, experienced and listens. He was proactive giving me a packet to read with a special diet and what not to drink and eat to help your over all digestive health. He put me on a probiotic and a stomach medicine prilosec. He said call me in 4 weeks and let me know how you are feeling. I called him and he returned my call in 24 hours, spoke to me about how I am feeling. He is very caring and compassionate to what you are going through. Made more recommendations and then said we are checking back with each other in another 4 weeks. I am getting ready to call him in a week. I can say, I can now eat and overall feel so much better with my stomach. He is an old time doctor in a new world but is up to speed on everything. I could not get into my regular gastro guy in the practice and he saw me… rather quickly. I was so pleased with how he handled me because when I went in I was feeling lousy. I feel a whole lot better and feel that he cares how my progress is going. I am not sure exactly what my diagnosis is but know with Dr. Kaufman he will keep following me and we will tackle this together. Worth seeing Dr. Kaufman.
