Dr. Stephen L Fedder, MD

Dr. Fedder is the most corrupt doctor that I have ever met. He is a cash cow hired by Insurance Companies to eliminate Insurance Companies from paying justified claims, despite the pain and suffering of injured parties. After receiving 6 major spine operations, the corrupt Fedder stated in his fraudulent Expert Witness Report hired by Travelers that I was never injured, did not warrant any of my 6 major spine operations, and my lumbar sprain from the car incident would heal in 4 to 6 weeks. It's been 5 years and I am still in excruciating pain. This Dr. was hired by my Insurance Co. (Mutual Benefit) to evaluate me so the Insurance Co. could stop making payments to me under my auto Insurance coverage. I had been rear ended with the car being pushed into oncoming traffic & being hit broadside at 40 MPH & then hitting a telephone pole. (not my fault) My back had been 100% fine before the accident, never a problem or limitation) & the Insurance Co. paid for therapy, pain medicines, injections from 2001 to 2020 (I still need daily strong pain medicines) but they decided they wanted to stop making payments & hired "Dr" Fedder to evaluate me and in less than an hour he came to the conclusion I was fine & wrote a letter (proving even a dr. will do anything for $$) stating "all medical care after 10.24.01 as not reasonable for, not necessary for and not related care for any injuries sustained in the 6.17.01 MVA". This guy is a a jerk and is totally wrong about my claim against my Insurance. AVOID HIM LIKE THE PLAGUE...that he is!

Dr. Fedder has performed 4 surgeries on my body. He doesn't sugar coat your problem and what in his opinion is necessary to repair. Some people may take offense to his directness. He is wonderful at both pain management and patient comfort. Patient comfort is high on his list. Four surgeries - that should say something.

My husband was in terrible pain and had been to the ER. No other doctor would see him ASAP after we got home. Dr. Fedder took the time, after he had been in surgery, to review my husband's case, do a thorough exam and make a diagnosis. We left feeling so much better after having this experience.
