Dr. Stephen J. Ferzoco, MD

Terrible surgeon did a horrible job on my hernia repair which failed immediately. Also fails to mention that his colleagues offer laproscopic procedures. Stay away!

I was sent to Dr Ferzoco for a needle biopsy. The day I arrived, he examined the lump and suddenly told me he wanted to perform a lumpectomy and remove it. With poor bedside manner, he immediately had me lay down the table, applied anesthesia to the side, and removed a lymph node from my breast. The entire time, I was laying on the table with my whole body tremoring. Luckily, the attending nurse was very comforting and kind.

Excellent, excellent, excellent. Professional and a real expert in his field.

I wish i listened to all the negative reviews about Ferzoco before I got the surgery. I am now 18 weeks out and in a lot of pain. It is hard to get Ferzoco to contact you and the woman who answers the phone for him is really rude. I would highly recommend doing some research on other people before him. I’m at the point where it would have been better to not get the surgery at all.

How thorough is a 20 minute hernia repair, dangerous. He lacks communication skills.

Dr. Ferzoco took his time with me. He was very through, and put me at ease with a complicated clinical situation. I would highly recommend him!

Had a hernia that was chronically recurring until I saw him. He put an end to that...knock on wood.

This man took out half my gall bladder!!! Then he tried to pass the blame, I had to have a eight hour operation to fixed everything elsewhere. My new doctor said he should have known better because the gall stones were still in me, I would have loved to sue him but according to the lawyers it was unfortunate that I lived as the only out of pocket I had was $2,000 and no lingering pain. So not wonder their time. More interested in buying medical books on EBAY and selling art.

This man is a fenom. He saved my life with an abdominal replacement surgery. HE IS a ROCKSTAR.

I am in chronic pain as a result of a hernia surgery done by Dr. Ferzoco. He nicked a nerve while performing my repair and it has been over 6 months of chronic, horrible pain. I should mention this was a re-repair done by him because the first one he completed resulted in massive scar tissue that needed to be removed. I should have gone elsewhere for the re-repair...nothing like paying a premium to be in pain.
