I waited to long to go to hospital and I had gangrene appendict which needed to come out immediately. Dr Getwel was on call and removed it 1:00 a.m. Also at the time I had no health insurance and he was still giving me top gun treatment. He really saved my life.

Dr. Gerwel was a total gentlemen when I got my appendix out. He was curteous to me and the OR nurses and had a good demeanor. Surgery was quick and efficient my recovery time was almost nothing because of the quick and concise job he did. Only thing that may throw people off about him is his accent German or something but 5 stars all the way!

This man is one of a kind, upfront and honest and that in itself is like a breath of fresh. He exudes confidence with a no nonsense attitude. If you want excellent surgery, honesty, caring, with a mix of humor and oh please don't let me forget excellent critical thinking skills with common sense....yes he is wonderful!!

Stay far away from this arrogant butcher. He will lie to you that surgery is needed. We will be living with this botched gallbladder surgery for the rest of our lives, requiring continued medical care and surgeries to correct his butchering.
