Dr. Stephen Takundwa Gutu, MD

I wanted to have high hopes for this doctor, but it's been 6 weeks since my son was seen by this doctor and told that the Dr. would send a referral through for my son to have an MRI and nothing has been sent though at all. I followed up with the doctor twice. The first call was ignored and never responded to. The second resulted in an email from the doctor saying that he had a lot of referrals he was working on. I called insurance 3 weeks later to see if the had been contacted to give pre-approval and nothing had been submitted to them at all. We are going to go somewhere else. Beware, this doctor may have sooner appointments available, but it's not worth it if you have to wait over a month for the doctor to do what he says he's going to do.

We love Dr. Gutu! He listens and helps get my kiddo the answers we need even if it’s not something in his spectrum he goes out of his way to help us find resources.

We’ve been seeing Dr. Gutu for several years and we love him! He listens really well and really cares about his patients. My son and daughter love him!

We were referred to this office from our Pediatrician. Dr Gutu is very friendly, informative about testing options and really took the time to reach and interact with my 5 yr old son. I really appreciated his kindness, attention to detail & professionalism. When you are going thru difficult times, even the small things can make a real difference - He & His Staff are GREAT!!!!

He came into the room with his mind made up. Saying my daughters problems was a different speciality (verified by multiple children's hospitals that it WASNT). Refused to look at picture and video proof. Told me we were seeing too many doctors before saying it was possibly just migraines. We finally got an MRI done and he had his NURSE call me to tell me results. Our pediatrician wanted to run more tests and Dr. Gutu's nurse calls me to say Dr. Gutu agreed to run this last test, but he will do nothing more for my daughter because tests are coming back fine. He has only done 1 test prior to this call! This doctor is arrogant, prideful and has a horrible bedside manner!

With in minutes of walking in the door he made up his mind about my diagnosis. Then proceeded not to listen to a word I said. When I started saying something he disagreed with he would hum and tap his pen ignoring me. He then insisted my headaches were caused by foods I don’t eat. I went back for a follow up which I had pushed back because I dreaded going back. He then yelled at me reprimanding me for pushing back the appointment. I then left and would never go back to that rude arrogant man.

After an er vist,4 days in icu, many test all normal. Dr gutu new imediately of my daughters very rare health condition. Would recommend him to everyone.

Diagnosis Is still unknown but Dr Gutu seems devoted to myself and dy daughter and figuring out exactly what she needs it be healthy. He isn't afraid to refer to other specialists, and TALKS to me about his thoughts instead of not telling me anything until he has to. I appreciate knowing possibilities and suggestions for myself to research. And, he has been very kind to me. I am usually alone at these appointments and he takes time to explain things, as well as comfort me and make me feel like I have the right to be scared, and feel worry, but he will do everything he can to help ease that. He's been a great Dr for us!

Dr. Gutu is a remarkable man. Very compassionate, concerned and knowledgeable. He goes beyond quality care.
