Dr. Stephen Henderson Lacey, MD

I had an appointment with Mr. Lacey concerning chronic pain in a joint. He did not consider any of my complaints legitimate simply because he could not determine the cause from a single X-Ray. He did not recommend any methods to alleviate pain or another doctor that could perhaps evaluate me better. Later, when I called his office, he stated that he "wasted 40 minutes" of his time by talking with me and accepting my appointment. I am baffled, I have never talked to such an inconsiderate and rude health care provider.

Excellent bedside manner. Listened to what my issues were. Sent me for testing before diagnosis. Has been wonderful Dr and would highly recommend.

Dr. Lacey has a wonderful, charming, and engaging personality. I enjoyed my visit and would highly recommend him and his office.

Dr.Lacey performed many surgeries on my hand to remove a fibromatosis (with tissue like Dupytrens)an aggressive tumor that caused my hand to be so deformed I couldn't even open it. He was relentless in helping me and ended up performing many difficult reconstructive surgeries that resulted in my being able to use my hand.I will forever be grateful for his skill and expertise.

Dr Lacey, was very short and hostile with me. He assumed I was lazy and wanting a free ride from workers comp.Just the opposite is true. I want to be the hard working independant person I used to be. since I can no longer work, I have become very depressed and can't think of a good reason to get out of bed. He never contacted me for further treatment possiblites
