false hope, unnecessary suffering

My parent was encouraged to take chemo pills, given unrealistic expectations. Was even told he could try others if these didn’t work (was later told that’s all there was). Pills immediately made him feel awful. suffered last months greatly bc the pills make you feel so bad.

Would not recommend

Poor bedside manner. Not forthcoming with helpful information. Not supportive of family. Dismissive regarding patient questions.
