avoid this doctor at all costs. I’ve had to misfortunate of seeing him three times in the last several years. The first time I went to the ER and saw him was due to the fact that I was scheduled to have surgery for a minor tear in my meniscus of my knee; about a week before the surgery My pain level went up to about a 10 and I could not straighten my leg out. He accused me of drug seeking even though my wife and I told him very clearly that I do not like opioids and would prefer not to have them. I actually told him I wanted to know why I was experiencing this pain and what we could do to stop it without using drugs. He said he couldn’t find anything wrong and gave me a brace to wear while it turns out when I went in for my surgery my meniscus had torn in half and folded over and my surgeon was really surprised that based on my pain level and the description That the doctor didn’t order an MRI. The second time was similar my PCP thought that I had tennis elbow and gave me a Cortizone… shot about five hours later I got a nine out of 10 pain level ended up in the ER with the same sadist. This time he again accuse me of drug seeking even though I told him I did not want opioids I told him I got a Cortizone shot and he said there’s no way a Cortizone shot would do that under any circumstances; He would be right there are usually two circumstances when you have an allergic reaction or when they inject Cortizone directly into two completely torn tendons… Third time I was in for norovirus; I was so dehydrated that I passed out the ambulance had to take me. When I woke up, he was standing there and asked me what was going on and my first reaction was to say out loud you’ve got to be kidding me and he just turned around and walked out of the room and proceeded to ignore me for several hours. i’m a former firefighter EMT, so I’m always very polite and nice to hospital staff and in this case I’m pretty sure based on notes in my chart or the fact that they all outright seem scared of him, that they all treated me very coldly after that. Going so far is to rip the IV out of my arm, causing me to bleed and he actually did not come in and do any kind of follow up before I was discharged. They just give me some paperwork and sign this. This doctor is a coward and he definitely suffers from Napoleonic syndrome. Seriously you’re a doctor, grow up even if you can’t get taller. If your self-esteem is so low that you have to treat everyone like their drug seeking just because they are in pain or when someone wakes up in the hospital and makes a dry comment about seeing you again in your responses to just walk out and ignore them on what was obviously a pretty slow night in the ER… You have a serious self-esteem problem

Gave this old man a run for his money a couple times in the ER while I was blackout drunk… looking at some of these reviews, I’m glad I did!!

The other reviewer is correct - this doctor is nasty, brutish, uncaring, disturbing and negligent. I have had to file a formal complaint with the hospital after he behaved deplorably toward me in the ER. He barely treated me for a severe bout of CVS, not giving me enough medication to even walk myself out the door and then discharging me without my consent. He stated that he knew better than my pain specialist and that he believes I should go off all of my pain medication right away. This is INCREDIBLY DANGEROUS and highly unprofessional for someone with no qualifications in pain management to say. He also openly scoffed at and mocked me, was cold and nasty, and did not treat his nurses with respect. HORRIBLE doctor. Patients please beware.

The most unprofessional, disturbing, creepy doctor I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I have a stomach condition called CVS, and every consecutive time I get triggered into an episode, I need to go to the hospital. My chart has a very strict protocol — Ativan, Zofran, and Dilaudid, 2 mgs. This man is the main person who put “drug seeking” on my chart, which was followed up by several other doctors due to the notes he put in. I had to throw up blood for nearly 2 weeks going in and out of hospital until someone would finally give me what I need. I hate drugs, especially opioids, but it’s a necessity when someone is throwing up 2 giant cups of black blood in your ER, while you and your nurses brush them off. My chart indicates that every time I’m given what I need, I go home without issue for months at a time, typically. That is not the behavior of a drug seeker. I have learned to avoid going to the graveyard/night shift entirely due to him. He is in charge during then,… for most days of the week. Not only does he refuse medication, but he will tell you how wrong you are, what every drug he WILL give you (he even offered me Ketamine once instead as an “alternative”, wish I was kidding), in the fakest “nice” voice possible. And if I adamantly tell him I am ALLERGIC to those — as I’m allergic to MOST medication, he will quite literally ignore me and walk out of the room, while I’m hooked up to IVs and can’t chase after him! And once again, that’s all over my chart. I’ve been having to work for months with the ER to have these records amended. Just because I’m goth doesn’t mean I’m drug seeking. I’ve also talked to several of his staff (primarily nurses) working under him, and SO many have reported to me how much they can’t stand working with him. More than I can even count at this point, since if I have to deal with him, I will ALWAYS vent to nurse about it. You’d be surprised how often they agree with me on how creepy the dude is. Stop judging others while putting on the nicest, fakest, over-the-top “sweet” voice you possibly can, while telling me how you’re going to let me die from ulcerative bleeding. I really hope your license is revoked — You are without a doubt the scariest doctor I have EVER met. I hope I never have to deal with you again.
