Dr. Stephen H Mascio, DO

My grandson was his patient for years but has not had to see him for several years. I called today and they said he would have to be a new patient and they aren't taking new patients so he can't have an appointment??? What??? Couldn't believe what I was hearing. So they expect you to go to the doctor when nothing is wrong with you?

There are bad ,good and great doctors , Dr Mascio is a GREAT doctor! From my first visit and to this day, he and his staff are the most professional, compassionate, genuinely concerning health care providers I've encountered since relocating to WV. When a doctor personally calls you when you're in need and knows your family, your history and treats you with the utmost respect it just doesn't get any better! His knowledge is unmatched as far as I'm concerned. Dr Mascio takes great care in addressing and diagnosing the problems. He never ever gives you the "brush off" as some do. He is my family doctor for life for my entire family! The staff are fantastic as well!

I typically see Jill at the office. I think she's his PA or nurse practitioner. Every time I call I get right in to see her with most appointments the same day! She listens when I speak and truly cares about her patients. Love her and the office staff!!

I truly feel Dr.Macio and his nurse Kathy R truly for themselves I was off on workers comp for about 2 years which consisted of shoulder injury, and yes Ohio workers comp is a very slow process, but besides the point my attorney sent paper work to Dr. Mascio office and the staff really did not know what to do with the paperwork, and when I went to my visit at Mascio in June he reported nothing else can be done for me and gave a return to work slip but wont pass me for a DOT Physical well the way I see this situation is when I go to work and hopefully don't hurt someone or hurt myself who is responsible not me?????????

The main thing I like about Dr. Mascio is the time spent with me. His staff is very efficient and gathers any info before he sees you and therefore he understands why you are there that day. I really appreciate he and everyone of his staff. I would recommend him to any who would ask who my doctor is.

Dr.Mascio is a wonderful doctor. He takes his time with you - he never tries to rush your appointment and he really listens to what you have to tell him. I've seen a number of physicians in my time (I'm very picky and critical) and he really is one of the best. I usually don't recommend physicians, dentists, or any other health care provider but I do when it comes to Dr. Mascio.

Since my husband and I moved back to WV, I had searched out Dr's in the area. My husband was referred to Dr Mascio for a work physical one day and ever since, we had our Dr! He is amazing. He listens, he understands, he looks for a way to treat the cause which often leads to the cure! I His staff are caring and enjoyable to talk to. Appts are never hard to make. The downside is we don't see him often, the upside is because we are rarely sick! But they ALL seem to remember us no matter how long it's been. Kindess and being compassionate is what this Dr and his staff are about.
