Dr. Stephen England, MD

Dr. England is simply the best! He takes time to listen. You never feel rushed. He also thinks of the kid right in front of him, not just like all other kids. We look forward to our visits with him!

We met Dr. England when my son had to have emergency surgury for a broken femur. He was very thorough in all the information he provided us on what the surgery would entail and was great about checking in daily at the hospital. He also made sure my son (who was 11) completely understood everything. He went above and beyond in my opinion with making sure we knew exactly what to expect following the surgery as well. It's been 8-months and my son has had no issues. He was back playing contact sports (which is how he was injured in the first place) within 4-months. I highly recommend Dr. England.

My daughter has been a patient of Dr. England's for the past 12 years. He has always given us his complete attention, been very thorough and has even called HER cell phone to check up on her. When she was much younger, she would even ask to see him if she just had a sore throat. (Dont' think an orthopedist wants to spend much time on a sore throat!) We feel very blessed to have been referred to Dr. England and our experience with him and all of the staff at Gillette Children's has been nothing but perfect throughout the years!

I didn't see Dr. England at his office, he performed emergency surgery on my husband. He was very down-to-earth, caring and compassionate, and also an excellent surgeon.
