I’ve been coming to Dr Timon approximately 5 years. I was told then I had herniation and degenerative disc disease. We initially went the conservative route epidural shots and PT which worked wonderfully for 5 years. However this last year I must’ve triggered my back someway and the pain came back worse than I recall before. This time we initially tried the conservative treatment again but it wasn’t as successful as the previous time. So after getting severe sciatic pain and numbness impacting my foot and shin. We decided to have a spinal fusion procedure and a clean up of my L5 S1 herniation. Thank God I did! I am now 6 weeks post op! Surgery was a complete success! No pain and the numbness in my foot appears to be leaving. Dr. Timon and his staff are top tier! I can’t express how very much I appreciate his professionalism and skill in treating my back! I start PT soon and I’m so excited to get my quality of life back. I look forward to regaining my ability to walk 3-5 miles again.… Thanks again to Dr Timon and his staff for getting this girl moving again!

Deciding to have a spinal fusion is not easy. It's scary, but after 12 years from my initial diagnosis of stenosis between L3-4, other management schemes had failed and a decision was made to proceed with surgery. It went well overall. Several complications have impeded the speed of my recovery, but good progress is being made. I was told by the Dr. to expect a year to fully recover. That has helped me to be more kind to myself. The only issue I would point out is the difficult process to get through to the staff when you need help or advice on your recovery. That said, I have to keep in mind that I'm just one of many patients in recovery. Without reservation I recommend Dr. Timon. He is a highly skilled surgeon who treated me with patience and kindness. His support staff are all very good, too!

Dr. Timon and his staff is by far the most professional and qualified orthopedic team I have ever encountered. I've been a patient of theirs for over 15 years dealing with a herniated disc, and I finally made the decision this past Spring to have Dr. Timon perform the much needed spinal fusion procedure! I'm not kidding when I say that all of my pre-existing back pain was completely eliminated from the moment I woke up after the procedure. Yes, there was temporary pain from the procedure itself, but that quickly subsided and I was up and walking laps around the recovery floor that very same day. Now I'm just over five months post op, and I have absolutely zero pain! Prior to the procedure I could not walk more than a block without my leg going numb and experiencing excruciating pain, and now I feel like I've been given a new lease on life! Thank you, Dr. Timon!

I have been going to Dr Timon for over 15 Years, 3 surgerys, my neck and my lower back in two different areas, cause I have back issues. All 3 of my surgerys Dr. Timon fix me without any problems. His team was always there to help us get ready for surgery and the after care to get well again. Dr. Timon and his Team are the Best, you will not be disappointed.

I was nervous about having 3 fusions in cervical spine. But, Dr Timon is an excellent surgeon and at 6 weeks post surgery I am not having the daily headaches that I had. I definitely recommend him

When I went to Dr. Timon in January 2025, I was in excruciating pain. I had herniated disc...C5-C6 and C6-C7. In years past I had received spinal injections which relieved the pain a little and had completed physical therapy. But it was time for surgery now. Dr. Timon explain the surgery plans for me. Once surgery was done, I was pain free. Recovery was hard being in a neck brace, but I continue to be pain free. Dr. Timon, his nurse and his Physician Assistants were amazing. I highly recommend them.

I had an L4-L5 fusion procedure on 12/3/24. Prior to the surgery my pain level was a constant 6-7 of 10 from my buttocks down my hamstrings to behind my knees. The day surgery was amazing. I was without pain and up and walking with the therapist immediately! After the 1 night stay, I was able to follow the recommended walking schedule from the very beginning and adhered to the prescribed plan religiously. I’m now 8 weeks postoperative and just started PT yesterday. The initial evaluation from the therapist was fantastic. I’ll be doing formal PT 2x per week and continuing my walking program in addition to the home exercise program from the PT. Looking forward to returning to golf as my primary goal. I have been absolutely thrilled with the outcome of the surgery. Dr Timon and his team have given me back my life, pain free and anxious to return to my normal routines in retirement, golfing, traveling and playing with our grandchildren!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Tune for the past 10+ years and he just completed my neck fusion. The entire staff of Dr. Tom starting with Shannan, and all of the PAs, front office & administrative staff, scheduling in Southlake and in the Irving/Las Colinas office as well as all of the other physician assistants and medical assistants, PT, etc. Other than some minor pain that was to be expected, I had a wonderful surgical experience being pretty apprehensive about it. I would highly recommend Steve Tune and his practice for people with my condition.

Very friendly and knowledgeable-not only wanted to ease my pain but helping in getting me help so that I stay on path in easing my lower back pain.
