Dr. Steven A Eddy, MD

Dr. Eddy is an amazing man with a very gentle and loving presence. He has been by my side in two very serious situations. If it was not his kindness I honestly don't know how I would have continued wanting to expand my family. I highly recommend him.

This dr has the bedside manner of a cro-mag. He and his staff clearly do not communicate.

Wonderful Doctor! Caring, takes time with patients. Have been a patient of his for 20 + years! Stayed with him after my daughter was delivered 18 years ago....and have traveled from different areas of the valley to see him.

I was very concerned about going to see Dr. Eddy, because I had read many reviews, and of course, the bad one's had me worried. I was referred to him, by my regular doctor, as I had issues that she could not find. Dr. Eddy, took a large portion of time with me. He was very, very kind, courteous, and caring. He explained a procedure that could be done that may help determine the problem. I made sure that I was certain and understood everything. I walked out with knowledge that is unusual when you see a doctor. I have had the procedure, we have found the problem and I am simply waiting for my follow up to see how we are going to fix it. But the nice thing is the knowing, that he will, fix it!!!! I can't thank him enough. I had been to emergency clinics and multiple tests due to the pain. It is nice to find someone that cares enough to take the time.

Pompous. Did not listen, was rude and in a hurry. Do Not Go To Him.

dr. eddy has delivered two of my babies. I highly recommend him to everyone i know. the office staff is very helpful, and i have never had any problems at this office. it is always a wonderful experience and i feel welcomed in this office and i know i am in good hands.

The nurses at this practice are great, but Dr. Eddy's bedside manner is poor. He spent very little time with me at each appt (this was my first pregnancy) and made me feel as though my questions or concerns were dumb. He was not on call when I delivered my baby, but at my follow-up the next day, he didn't even acknowlege the baby or offer a congratulations. I will be going elsewhere for my next baby.

I switched to Dr.Eddy at almost 20 weeks into my pregnancy due to moving out of state. I had seen him 2 times before this visit and was fairly pleased; he took time to answer my questions and went through all of my previoius medical records with what seemed like pretty good detail. He was friendy enough I guess. The last time I will ever step foot in his office was my 3rd visit when I "complained" (his word) about not being able to sleep well and not being able to relax at night. He suggested a few things, sex being one of them. I just kind of laughed it off and said that I just wasn't really feeling like doing that these days. Then, suddenly, he was reminding me that my husband has needs too and if I didn't meet those needs that he would probably go take care of them with someone else!!!!! REALLY!!!! I was waiting for him to laugh it off like he was joking, NOPE! He was completely serious. My husband will cheat on me if I don't sleep with him because I'm pregnant and I don't… feel like it? So I finished up my appointment and left. Later that day someone called me to of course collect money. I paid and informed them that I wouldn't be back. Someone did call me later that afternoon again and asked me why but didn't seem surprised or sympathetic in the least when I told them. So unless you're prepared to be preached to about your wifely duties this is not the doc for you.

Dr. Eddy is kind, caring and his bedside manner is warm, honest and truthful. People who have had negative experiences are entitled to their opinion, but truthfully I must admit they probably would have been disappointed with anyone. Dr. Eddy delivered my daughter in 2008 and it was a c-section with every complication and pre-existing condition you could imagine. I have heart, lung, stomach and brain tumors, as well as metal plates in my back head and hand. I felt more pain having my teeth cleaned. He is scheduled to deliver our second daughter 6/16/11 and the care has been amazing thus far as expected. He has a son who was injured during birth so he is extra careful, don't. Let some over emotional ramblings prevent you from getting superb care. I have seen over 500 Dr. In my 35 years and he ranks in my top 5.

After having my first child at a large OB practice, I was determined to find a new OB office that was smaller and more persona. I found that with Dr. Eddy and his staff. Being a medical professional myself, I have certain expectations that I expect of my own staff so I guess you can say that I am very particular when it comes to the wait time, friendliness of the front desk and nurses and of course, the doctor's chair side manner. I found Dr. Eddy to be very personable and his office staff extremely helpful and friendly. I have since referred a number of my friends to Dr. Eddy's office and they have all had great experiences. I would highly recommend Dr. Eddy and his office.
