Pathetic excuse for a doctor. Talked abusive to elderly confused stroke patient. Horrible bedside manner. Lied on patient and their family to cover up his behavior and offered no apology. Dismissed confused stroke elderly patient and lied about them refusing tests.

Dr. Dawson is an on-staff doctor at SGMC and doesn't have an outside practice. If he did, I would want him as my doctor, hands down! I saw him in the hospital, and he was very aggressive in researching to find out what was wrong with me after coming to ER. Likewise, he provided a diagnosis with treatment after tests were run. In speaking with other medical staff, he was always regarded with the highest regard and respect. Very knowledgeable and thorough.

Dawson was my neuro while I was in ICU last Fall. I find the other reviews appalling. While I can see no compassion in him, he is amazing at what he does. I love the fact that he continues to learn and study instead of keeping a straight book mindset that most doctors have. He's a brilliant man that helped my husband and I both understand and cope with what was going on with me. I wish he had an office outside of SGMC!
