Dr. Steven Brian Wolf, MD

Steve Wolf is a miracle worker, the best spinal surgeon ever. He takes the time each patient requires, and never rushes you to get to the next patient. Any patient who rates him less than 5 stars is probably mad that they had to wait so long in the waiting room. A lesser doctor would rush patients through so as to not back up their patients waiting to be seen. I don't resent waiting because I want him to give me the time I need. Why would I expect him to do any less for another patient. Dr Wolf is known to fix patients no one else could, even to the extent of preventing paralysis due to an injury. That's the kind of doctor I want, no matter how long I have to wait. God bless Dr Wolf!

When I was told by other doctors that there was nothing that could be done to ease my life-altering constant pain, my pain management doctor suggested I go to Dr. Wolfe. I had degenerative disk disease that was causing scoliosis in my back, channel narrowing and instability and I had 4 stress fractures. I was 54 and felt like I was 90. He replaced disks with cages among other things and did a spinal fusion from L4 to S1. Realistically, I will never be able to do ALL the things I could do 15 years ago, but I can do a lot more than I could before the surgery and most importantly, I can do it without constant pain. Simply put, he gave me my life back.

Been to dozens of doctors and he wins Best Bedside Manner hands down ! I was hurting when he visited me post-op and I intended to be mad (despite knowing it was to be expected after spinal surgery) but just couldn't when he looked me in the eyes, kindly stroked my arm, and said "it WILL work." I trust him and recommend him to anyone especially those who've struggled with an unsuccessful prior surgery or other interventions that failed. it can take a while to get in, especially since there are limited options in central PA, but he's worth the wait

I drive an hour and a half to see him. He is so popular that it takes a while to get an appointment but its worth it. He is knowledgeable, curtious and you can be completely honest with him. He gives a very thorough examination and can really tell you whats going on and the options about how he can help you.

Dr. Wolf is one of a kind. He has done 3 spinal procedures on me and I wouldn't have anyone else. He is kind, caring and compassionate and takes his time with you once you get in to see him personally!

He, Dr. Wolf, is one physician that is caring, compassionate and everything wonderful a physician should be. He has done two cervical surgeries and one L-S surgery on me and there will never be anyone else, as long as Steve is practicing, will ever operate on my spine!
