# # # Treated like a number. Too much paperwork from Scripps No personal attention No consistency of personal, it’s like a merry go round, with different people that never care to get to know you. Difficultly filling prescriptions post surgery. Lots of pain.

Dr. Cool is the best orthopedic surgeon! He did arthroscopic knee surgery on me and did a terrific job! I have had trouble finding a good surgeon like him!

I have more than 60 rare medical disorders and am considered very high risk Because of my various collagen and vascular related problems, I am prone to skeletal, muscle and nervous system issues -- as well as excessive bleeding. When I met with Dr. Copp, I was extremely pleased to see that he had studied my case and even pointed out a factor 8 (blood factor) that was elevated. I would give him 10 gold stars.

Dr. Copp has done both of my hips and knees He is very caring and takes time to answer all of your questions. His staff is wonderful as well.

You won't find a better doctor in the US. He's smart, knows his stuff and even has a great bedside manner. He really understands how important athletic activities are to people of all ages.

I had a very arthritic right hip that first went bad when I was about 30 yrs old and eventually required 2 different procedures about 25 years ago to buy time until I was old enough to have it replaced. Over time i slowly became something of a functioning cripple. Dr Copp examined it in 2012 and asked me if I was finally ready to get it replaced and start getting active again. I was ready so he replaced it, straightened and lengthened my leg and cleaned up some other issues, and after about a year recovery time it was as good as it was ever going to get. I was now able to do activities that I had not been able to do for decades. This year my left hip deteriorated quickly and he performed a total hip procedure on it about a month ago. I am in recovery mode now and everything feels great. I highly believe in and have confidence in this surgeon and will request to have him perform any future procedure if that situation ever comes up.

My total knee replacement experience was great. the experience and support I received was the best I've ever had with a doctor/hospital.

Dr. Copp is fabulous. He found a condition in my spine that no one believed existed. He is great at follow up and a wonderful surgeon. If you do end up waiting, you know it is because some one was in dire straights and he is just the sort of doctor to drop things and address an emergency , and I am okay with that because, I have been that patient that was the the one who made the doctor late for his other appointments.

I was very fortunate to have Dr. Copp do my double knee replacement. He is an excellent doctor who on my first visit with him told me how much he enjoyed doing surgery. It was only on my second visit ( first after my surgery) did I see the "man inside the surgeon". It was that visit when he said he was rewarded when he saw how much people's lives were changed aafter surgery. I had just told him how much it meant to me to stand before a bathroom sink and be able to brush my teeth. ...something I had not been able to do without pain for five years.

This is one of the best orthopedic surgeons in the US. I had broken my ankle and was limping through life for months until, as fate would have it, I met with him. The corrective surgery was bloody awful as my broken ankle had healed incorrectly; correcting it required breaking the healed site. However, after 8 weeks post-op in a Bledsoe boot, I was able to lead an insanely active life ( I biked for 40 miles in one day for a trip across Asia). It has been almost 14 years and I still wonder about my luck on that date when I scheduled my meeting with him.
