Dr. Steven Howard Katz, MD

Well damm. I’m so happy I’m not the only one. This man is totally unprofessional. I paid the hospital bill charge and then later on somehow charged $400 for this dude that spoke to me for 30 seconds just to repeat what the nurse just told me. How insane is that, this guy is money hungry.

I received no bill; and then I got a nasty note from a collection agency saying my insurance company paid nothing and I would have to pay the entire amount and it was already past due. My insurance should have covered this emergency room visit. Dr. Katz's billing service must not have given the insurance company the right information. I asked for an itemized bill and have received nothing. I have tried to find a phone number to call to get more details about the billing. The amount seems excessive ($1816.00). I was in the emergency room for a couple of hours. I had a mild stroke. They ran a few tests. I received no treatment, not even an aspirin. The last hour I was in the emergency room they said they were just waiting for a room to become available.

This doctor has the worst attitude ever, seems like he really hate his job, this guy didnt want to explain what happen to his patient and seems like he just wanted you to leave him alone, the emergency visit didnt help me at all, i eneded up making another appointment with another doctor and she made sure i understand what happened and gave me clear instructions what i had to do. I do think this person do not deserve to be a doctor, he doesnt care about you, period.

Doctor has a really bad attitude and doesn’t inform you properly of your diagnosis. Be aware, don’t ask him any questions, because he will fire back with criticism. Doesn’t explain things in layman’s terms and is very short. Ct and X-ray scans. It would of been nice to view the scans with him so he can explain the situation. I have no dietary instructions on my paperwork. Still in pain and no relief $5,000 later.

Dr. Katz is the best doctor I have ever seen.

He is rude, clearly has a Napoleon complex, his clinical ability is weak, orders every test on every patient because he lacks confidence in his diagnoses. He doesn't keep patients and families informed, and gives you an overall feel that he just doesn't care. I have told everyone is this community what a joke he is and the CEO should take note and request his resignation.

Dr. Katz made my visit to the ER the most pleasant experience. He is the hottest Dr. I have ever seen. He makes the Dr's on Greys Anatomy look like dogs..
