Steven M. Sanders, MD, FAAOS is a recognized authority in the field of orthopedic medicine whose Las Vegas based practice includes a primary focus shoulder and knee. As a widely recognized expert in this field, Dr. Sanders conducts lectures on a variety of related topics, including joint replacements, on-the-job injuries, and arthritis.

Following his graduation with honors from the University of New York, Buffalo, with an undergraduate degree in Cell and Molecular Biology, Dr. Sanders earned his Medical Degree from St. Louis University of Medicine in 1981. He went on to complete residencies in internal Medicine and Orthopedic Surgery, both from Northwestern University in Chicago.

He has held Fellowship positions at prestigious medical organizations in Surgical Arthritis and Clinical Trauma and is licensed to practice medicine in both California and Nevada.

He is Board-Certified in Orthopedic Surgery and is on the Clinical Faculty, orthopedic …Surgery, at Valley Health Systems in Las Vegas.

Hi Dr Sanders is a bit serious but very professional and he fix both my knees I am very grateful for him and all his stuff specially Magaly his assistant, I was in so much pain got my appointment right away and not waited for doctor to see me so I thank you Dr Sanders and I will recommend him to my friends and family ??

Everything was easy and pleasant. It really was. The whole staff treats you with respect and kindness. Dr. Sanders is straight forward, very informative, and actually just wants to get you better. He crosses his T’s and dots his I’s. I would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Sanders and his staff were incredible. Surgery went perfectly and my knee felt better almost instantly. Recovery was quick and I feel great after only a few weeks. Professional sand meticulous, I highly recommend Dr. Sanders

I founds Dr Sanders to be one of those rare physicians who takes the time to understand his patient's issue and is very thorough in determining the recommended course of action and very straightforward in explaining the various options available. He is also very pragmatic and easy to talk to. I got a strong feeling of his empathy for my problems and his desire to find the best solution.
