Scheduled an appointment without my knowledge. Sent me email on Saturday. Been trying for hours to reach them with request for callback. Second time I've tried to reach them with no contact or callback.

Great psychiatrist & listens & takes your suggestions into consideration. Easy to talk to. 5 stars Receptionist not very friendly. Billing difficult to work with. Met my out of pocket but they kept charging my card. Had my card removed. Took 3 months for refund. I finally had to call office manager & she straightened it out within a week over Christmas time. I now pay as I receive statements only. But Dr. Shevitz is great!!!

Stewart Shevitz was very standoffish from the beginning of the telehealth call. He did not appear to want to help and seemed uncomfortable. Was not willing to provide alternatives for my condition and said, "Due to your medication history, nothing will help you" then said we should end our visit and hung up.

A nice. very smart Doctor who is intuitive. Highly recommend.

Dr. Shevitz presents as classicly psychoanalytical and you have to get used to this. He is up-to-date on state-of-the-art treatments for depression and knows where studies are conducted (if not at MCG). He is receptive to the patient's input into their plan of care. He makes medication changes slowly to determine it's efficacy. He helped me return to work off disability!

Pleasant office, seems well aware of medications available. Hesitant to give advice on medication changes. Very concervative - not the type to immediately change medications or try new ones 'just because'. Pleasant.
