Dr. Stuart Andress Mccarthy, MD

I highly recommend Dr. McCarthy to anyone. He has a great bedside manner and he talks to directly face to face and He listens to everything you have to say. I enjoy my visits to his office. His office staff is very professional and most of all very kind and friendly.

The doctor was willing to take the time and discuss my medical problem with me fully rather than rushing and going to the next patient. More doctors should be like him. He also took care of my medical situation at the time.

Honestly, I can't tell you if Dr. McCarthy was good or not. This was due to his secretary Veronica who was rude and unacceptably unprofessional. Therefore, I canceled my appointment and went somewhere else. I won't go into detail but It was very disheartening that a secretary can act so immature and act as a "gait keeper" to a health professional. This type of service & attitude wouldn't hold up in my line of business that's for sure.

Dr. McCarthy recommended a turbinate reduction and deviated septum surgery to fix my problem breathing through my nose and from start to finish his care was outstanding. He took the time to put me at ease about the surgery, explained everything in detail, and I can breathe clearly now, which is an amazing feeling. Dana (the nurse) is also professional and highly courteous. Definitely one of the best, if not the best, ENTs in Southern California. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

All the above and had surgery yesterday.. woke up after surgery with pain level 3-4 scale, felt much better than I anticipated. Today, good follow up by his nurse, Dana. I feel better today. First day in months without a sinus headache.

I had nose reconstruction surgery ("nose job") done by Dr. Maccarthy many years ago---I just stumbled upon him on the internet. Anyway, he did a great job on my nose, and I'm sure it was no easy task. I was, and still am very happy with the results. Thanks Doc.
