Friendly but cant seem to think outside of just prescribing medication after medication. You have a few minutes and that's all you get the appointment is abruptly terminated at that point.

I want to start this off by saying this is the first time I’ve ever written a review on anything, but I absolutely had to because I would be doing an injustice to others by not sharing my thoughts. I’ve had two appointments with Dr. Javia, the first one was my initial screening, where he prescribed medication, and the second was only a couple of days ago. At my last appointment, I told him the medication was not working and I felt like I was going backwards in my progression. I asked for a TEST for a diffferent diagnosis, and he quickly disregarded my inquiries about the test. I was confused, but still respectful to Dr. Javia when he dismissed me. Instead, I wanted to just ask questions about the test to a professional, instead of reading things that I search on google. While I was asking questions, he was standing up, wrapping up his notes and clearly trying to end our appointment while not answering a single question. This was after about 6 minutes of talking to him. Instead of… taking the time to figure out what was going on and why I wanted the test, he wrote me a prescribtion that doubled my medication. I am writing this because I have a feeling a lot of first time patients are like me: limited options because of insurance, in need of help, not having the ability to wait months on end for an appointment, and being scared of having another person dismiss your thoughts or feelings. If this sounds like you, I highly recommend seeing a different doctor. Dr. Jarvia seems kindhearted, and I’m sure he’s very knowledgeable about his profession, but in my experience he was dismissive, disconnected, and even rude. I will not be seeing Dr. Jarvia again.

This is the least helpful doctors out there!! listens, but does not hear you , leave very frustrated.. no help here, 10 min and next patient.... run, you will get no help here, only 28 pills for 28 days (exactly) and think if you can't make an appointment, what are you going to do?

I have been a petient of Dr Javia, for aprox one year. Every visit has been positive, and helpfull to me. Dr. javia found the right combination of medication instantly to help with my condition. He also provides advice and guidance through very difficult and trying times. The office staff is extremely polite, and accomodating when scheduling follow up visits. I highly recommend Dr. Javia.
