Her fellowship in infectious diseases was completed at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Dallas Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. She is a member of the International Antiviral Society, Infectious Diseases Society of America and the Society of Healthcare Epidemiology of America.
