Dr. Sundeep Viswanathan

I went to Dr. Viswanathan in January for heart arrhythmia and chest pain. He pulled out his iPhone with an AI app to record me and give diagnosis. I sat there while the app did what he should have been doing. Made me realize I could just pay for an AI service and skip the doctor entirely. I asked questions about my arrhythmia - he couldn't answer them. He seemed rushed to end the appointment. No diagnosis from him. No treatment plan from him. I had to suggest my own medication and testing myself - things AI had already told me to ask about before the visit. They billed $2,314 for 30 minutes of this. I asked for an itemized bill showing what exactly I'm paying for. Emailed their New Patient Specialist - no response. Escalated to their CEO - no response. They won't even tell me what services justify $2,314. What are they hiding?

Experienced doctor. Answered all my question. All the staff was friendly as well. Will recommend.

I do not trust doctors or the medical system in general and am weary of them. I read some good reviews about Dr Viswanathan ( I insist on calling him by his full name and butchering the pronunciation which makes him laugh). The reviews are true! I has chest pain and he was very worried about me and got me in for a cardiac catheterization to put a stent in the next day. He kept me informed the entire time and has an excellent bedtime manner. The staff at the hospital also love him. I hope I don't have any more issues but I know I am in good hands!

Dr V is an expert is echocardiography(picture of heart) and diagnosed me with a condition that others missed. He referred me to a heart surgeon who fixed my valve. The whole experience was scary but he was by my side every day! My family is greatful for him

Dr. V and the office are a great place to feel warm and welcomed. They try to help you feel comfortable and really understand what you are going through. I know my family will be safe when coming to the office and i cannot thank them enough for the service they gave us.

While my father (87 yrs old, 2 time Veteran) was treated well by Dr Vishwanathan, the actual practice is incompetent. I often conference in for my father's medical appointments, and had a good rapport with Dr V. I have asked, on occasion, to have some tests run when he is ordering labs anyway. From the very beginning, we have had issues with billing from Labcorp via the lab order from the office, as the coding sent to the lab was incorrect. This occurred several times, and the last time was a bill that included a lipid panel that was not covered because it was not coded properly. After addressing the issue with Keith, the Director, I was told he would take care of it. Over almost a year, we managed to get the bill dwindled down to just one test - a Vitamin D3. Keith would not come out and meet with me when I stopped by the office on two occasions (I live across the country). He left it to the asst Dir, Sarah, who was just following orders. It was last left that I needed to… call MediCare for the coding. NOT MY JOB. That test, when ordered by a doctor, is $259. If I were to order the test directly, it would be $50. My father has received collection notices, and the last chat with Sarah, was left with her to call me back after speaking to Keith. Never heard back. How hard is it to code at D3 test properly? Never encountered such incompetence before. I sent Dr V a message saying that though he is the best cardiologist my father has seen, we simply cannot trust the office and their processes. Never heard back. Stay away from this place. They cannot be trusted, and you will be left having to pay for things that you shouldn't have to because of their incompetence. Who has the time, energy or resources for that?

Unfortunately I go to alot of doctors and can snuff out the good ones from the bad ones. Dr V is definitely one of the best and I trust him completely.
