Dr. Sunita Singh, MD

Dr. Singh seemed like she truly wanted to help in the beginning. As time went on, I realized that she was just throwing darts at a medicine board, not knowing what to suggest. Also, there is little talk of actual issues. More time is spent looking for another drug. Now she is playing games by withholding medication and citing some arbitrary form that states she has 48 hours. What kind of Dr does such an irresponsible thing with a patient’s medication. This lady will get you hooked on drugs and then leave you hanging. I suggest you look elsewhere……I am.

She is scared to treat actual mental illnesses. Not sure why she chose this field. She isn’t up to date on new medications or treatments.

went to Dr. Singh for a mental diagnosis. I had previously been briefly labeled as bipolar. The psychiatrist unethically prescribed me bipolar meds that later caused suicide attempts. I informed Dr. Singh of this and told her I wanted a more thorough evaluation. Our visit went well so I thought. She told me she wanted me to go for neurological testing for an exact diagnosus..great! A week later she sent me a letter stating that we were not a good fit. She tried to dodge my calls, but I finally got through to her. Coming from a medical family, I informed her that although she wasnt forced to treat me, she did owe me an explanation. She said she didnt have the background to treat bipolar which isn't true as she is an MD. I reminded her that she has ethical parameters. She said her patients were waiting and she had to go. I will also probably be filling a formal complaint with the Texas Medical Board. She is not compassionate and does not want to help you in your time of need. Robin P.
