Dr. Sunny Gupta

I went Dr.Gupta for gel shots in my knees. He is kind , attentive and I never felt rushed. It didn’t hurt as bad as I thought .i would definitely recommend Dr.Gupta for knee pain!

I have had injections in my knees by several orthopedic doctors and i must say Dr. Gupta is by far the best at doing this. I always hated getting this done in the past and now i look forward to it.

Dr, Gupta has been treating my knee pain and arthritis for the past 4-5 years. He has always been compassionate and professional. He has a very gentle touch with injections. He has saved me from bilateral knee replacements, thus far. I never stress my appointments for injections when I know of others who get treatments in different facilities complaining of severe pain. I would and have recommended him to friends and family.

He never listened to me as my pain got worse not better with the injections. I questioned him each time and his response everyone is different. I asked from day one about an MRI and I was told “most insurance companies won’t agree to it”. He didn’t bother even confirming. Nope. Injections. That’s the protocol. Well after one cortisone shot no relief. Two weeks later the first gel shot. No relief hurting more. One week later the second gel shot. Nope no relief still in constant pain. He said it takes time. Each time I questioned him about it and he poo pooed it. Third shot nope no relief. Ok well let’s do the fourth shot AND I’ll see you 4 weeks later. However, if you’re having no relief you can call. Well no relief at all! I then called and said I WANT AN MRI. Finally got that this past Friday. I followed up Monday. First question, is it better? I said no still in pain everyday. He then looked at the screen and said ok well it’s time for a surgeon for a knee replacement! I’m a 49 year… old active woman. I said uh no. He then said “ well you could try physical therapy as a last resort”. WHAT??? He left the room I asked for a copy of the written MRI report where it CLEARLY stated what was wrong with my knee. NONE of which he ever mentioned. I’ve been in pain for months, I’ve lost more mobility in my knee, and I’m now going to a different practice for them to FIX my knee. I’m so sad and disappointed with the lack of quality care I thought I would get. I definitely felt like a number there.
