Dr. Suvesh Chandiok, MD

It lasted about 5 minutes. After reading a page or so from my file, he said to me; “I’m going to put you on insulin”. I told him I would lose my job as a commercial driver. He said that there was nothing else he could do. He did not ask me about the food I eat or my lifestyle. He knew nearly nothing about me. I picked up my things and walked out. I could say much more……. I will say he is living proof that anyone can become a physician.

Once Dr Chandiok established I have hashimoto's thyroiditis and I have a goiter, he precedes to tell me I'm hypothyroidism and my hormone levels are normal, I don't need to be on medicine. But I have a goiter, and still have symptoms, became very defensive when I questioned him. He's not GOD!!!! Next! This is just my experience with him.

Dr Chandiok is, without a doubt, one of the most unfeeling, uncaring Dr's I have ever seen. I got the feeling that he thought I was wasting his time and I should just die to make his workload easier.

Anyone with a serious thyroid condition I suggest NOT to see Chandiok. Chandiok is unprofessional and does not consider what works for the "patient" rather than what "he" prefers for treatment. After years of being on Armour before seeing him, he made me change to Synthroid. I did this for 3 months and nearly all my hair fell out. Chandiok refused to write me a prescription back to Armour stating "HE" doesnt care for that medicine. He prefers medicine that makes his patients bald evidentially. He left me high and dry with no meds and could careless about my concerns and needs. He is the worst endo I have ever been to.
