Dr. Sylvester C Booker, MD

This is the best doctor ever! He is extremely knowledgeable. I had difficult pregnancies from 2013 till 2019. He handle all of them so well. I knew nothing could go wrong. I wish he could stay at Howard forever. I highly recommend him. I am a bit sad because i heard that he left the practice. This man deserves a medal of excellence. He has saved my life time and time again. I wish him the best and really hope Howard finds another great mind to replace this huge lost.

I have been going to Dr. Booker since about 2010 when I was a student at Howard University. He reminded me of my grandpa appearance wise, which is why I continued to be his patient even after no longer attending the school. At first he seemed pretty knowledgeable about common female issues and symptoms like irregular menstrual cycle, bacterial infections, birth control, etc. But on my last visit in 2017 he couldn't remember the name of my birth control to re-order at the pharmacy. He also couldn't read the computer screen to properly order it and the nurse had to come in to assist him. I also sat there for about 30 minutes after my appointment time to wait for the front desk receptionist to return from lunch with her McDonald's. Mind you I had to pay for street parking at a meter. Once she checked me in she forgot to collect my co-pay amount and the billing department sent me a bill for the charges. After the nurse took my vital signs she informed me that Dr. Booker was not here yet… and he is running late. I told her if he is not here in the next 30 minutes I have to leave because I am parked at a meter. Needless to say he arrived in 45 minutes. After being there for almost 3 hours, I left and luckily I didn't get a ticket on my car.

Don't go to this man!

I would highly recommend Dr. Booker he's old school and very knowledgeable. Best hundred doctor I have seen in years.

I just start seeing Dr. Booker in Nov 2012 and I can say that he is very knowledgeable. He is not one of those doctors that is only going to give 15 min of there time. He will answer every question and even take the time to explaine every little detail. His appointment times are flexiable and his staff is so nice. All of the young ladies take real good care of his patients. Thumbs up for Dr. Booker and his staff.

This man failed to see me ontime. I saw him after waiting for 2 + hours. I was told if anything was wrong I would be notified. Close to a year later I am being told that I have precancerous cells!

i truly thank God for him! I have been seen by several doctor, in the district of columbia! and No one as of yet told the truth concerning my health issue! He's very much concernig and I look foward too see him in the future for all of my health concerns! thank You Dr. Booker, may god keep you with the hearth to sever your peoples of all race of life.xxooxx
