Dr. James T S Rhyee, MD

I have been a patient for over 15 years. Dr. Rhyee has worked with me to manage my symptoms and side effects. I'm impressed by the way he keeps current with research as well as what he has seen over many years of experience. When I have to wait, I know that it's because he takes whatever time is necessary for each person.

I Trust Dr Rhyee but wish others in the area had his knowledge as I'm not sure how much longer he will be in practice.

Dr. Rhyee saved me from severe bipolar episodes which was misdiagnosed by another doctor. He has brought me back to a close as normal life as possible.

He was a good doctor, he was always a little abrupt, but he did his job well. Then I moved, but wanted to keep him as my psychiatrist. I was literally driving 5 hours just to see him because I trusted him. Then I was supposed to have appointment with him this summer, but something got goofed with my express scripts and it got sent to the old address and never made it to me. I tried for months to get it straightened out. Now he refused to refill my prescriptions and refused to see me. So now I am without medication and without a psychiatrist.

gotta love dr rhyee, he is very intelligent and acurately prescribed the medication lithium for me for manic depression and i am still taking it to this day. it has helped me wonders and even though i am no longer a patient of dr rhyee's, he was there for me when i became depressed and suicidal. he even explained to my mother the nature of manic depression and she still uses the same keywords to this day. he is a kind person and very caring as well...

I was a patient of Dr. Rhyee for many years, and always thought highly of him. Recently, he berated and yelled at me non-stop during my last two appointments until I was sobbing, but he continued his angry outburst anyway (to the point of being abusive). I decided it was time to look for a new doctor. No one should be treated that way by anyone, but especially not from your psychiatrist. It's time for Dr. Rhyee to retire and/or get help for himself.

This guy would explode during my visits. I think he's about to snap. Just saying.

Called Dr Rhyee about side effects and he hasn't returned call

Dr. Rhyee had been my doctor for years and I would recommend him to anyone who is in need of psychiatric care. He has years of experience in the field and really cares about his patients. If he were not an excellent doctor I would go elsewhere for my care.
