Tanya Franklin, MD, MSPH

Dr. Franklin is the most patient, caring, knowledgeable, and warm doctor I have ever encountered. She made me and my family feel most comfortable during a very difficult procedure. She truly cares about her patients and takes the time and effort to make sure they know. I am thankful for her.

She is wonderful and good at what she does.

I started at clark memorial in Indiana when I found out I had miscarried my baby at 20 weeks. They transferred me to UofL hospital under the care of Dr Franklin and I'm so glad they did. She is a warm person with a great bedside manner and made sure I was taken care of. Each time she needed to perform a procedure, she explained in detail step by step what was going to happen. She spent a good amount of time getting to know me, offering comfort and sympathy to me in my biggest time of need. Her along with her team of nurses were absolutely wonderful, very prompt when I needed help, and made sure my mom was taken care of too (who was staying by my side the whole time I was there). Pain wise she also made sure I was comfortable, very prompt with orders for pain meds, fluids, everything. I will definitely continue going to her for further treatment. I can't thank her or her team enough for the care they gave me.

Dr. Tanya Franklin is a extremely knowledgeable Ob/Gyn with a wonderful caring persona. She made me feel at ease the moment she walked into the examining room. She answered all my questions, asked if I had any other concerns, to which I had none. She also, spend a good deal of time setting up appointments for other tests, that I had been putting off. She really cared about my overall well being.This is the first time ever I received a pap smear that was totally painless! I would highly recommend Dr.Franklin to any woman from childbearing years to beyond menopause!
