Dr. Tanyaradzwa Kajese, MD

I was referred to Dr. Kajese's office through my assistant to consider for VSG. Upon my initial visit, she thoroughly talked to my and my wife on options a little more than a hour and answered all questions. We came up with a game plan, and she and her team walked us through all the steps to ensure we got insurance approval. Surgery went well, and she check on me often, now 5 months post OP, I am 100lbs lighter. I now have my mobility back, i am off blood pressure medication, cut my pain medication in half, and now I have a ton of more energy. Everything before surgery was great. During my appointments I felt Dr. Kejese was knowledgeable, answered all my questions and I trusted that she would do a good job on my gastric sleeve. After surgery I didn’t have any major complications, and my scars healed very nicely. However Dr. Kajese wouldn’t know anything about my recovery because the day after surgery was the last I ever heard from her. She never reached out to me after surgery to see how I was doing or healing, I never even received a follow up appointment from her office. I had a phone appointment scheduled but the office some how messed my appointment up and no one ever called me to discuss how I was recovery or healing. Even through I am extremely happy with my decision to have surgery, I am extremely disappointed in how I was treated post surgery. It honestly felt like the day after surgery my name was crossed of the “let’s show care and and support to this patient” list. I honestly do not… understand how I doctor can just completely forget about a patient after they had a major life changing surgery. Oh by the way.... in case you ever do read this. I’ve done great completely on my own without any support from you or your office. I am over a year out and down 130 pounds. Oh and how are my vitamin levels?? You know the ones that you and your office should be concerned about after a major surgery like I had. They are completely fine, luckily my primary doctor cared enough to have them check out for me since your office never cared enough to check in on me.

Dr. Kajese is the best for this type of surgery. She is very attentive to her patients needs. She supports you at every step. Talks to you not at you. Friendly with the family members. Answers all questions you and your family may have. I would absolutely recomend her to anyone interested. A. Bell

I find that Dr. Kajese is very nice. Takes time with her patients and explains things very well. Has a wonderful personality. I will be seeing her again.
