I’m here writing to tell all those of interest my experience with Dr. Terrence Kim and how I got here today. It was a year in the making and had interviewed 4 surgeons. I had also researched their backgrounds and asked the why and how they became who they are today, Dr. Kim’s was a great answer. Dr. T. Kim was the 4th surgeon I had seen. When communicating with someone it’s important that they look in my eyes, and that he did. He had explained how my back is, how it got there, what surgery I needed and how I would benefit from it. He was extremely informative, compassionate, answered all my questions, and explained the issues with my back in a way that I could understand. Right now for me, this is 5 months post surgery and it was a complete success. Yes, there are a few minor hiccups and can be remedied by myself. By which I mean, physical therapy outside, or at home viewing PT videos. I told myself to follow all pre-op and post-up instructions. Yes, some of us forget and yes, I… forgot a few things. What I clearly understood is that ((( I ))) had to do my part as well to make it an even more successful surgery. I knew that taking a pill, or having a surgery will not take all this pain miraculously away. Again I told myself that I ((( MUST ))) do my part and have patience with the healing process. I highly recommend that treating a Doctor and his staff with the utmost respect is important. They work very hard to assist these doctor's and making their patients feel comfortable. I had to remind myself that I was not the only patient and expecting a phone call, or quick response is not always possible. Patience is a virtue possessed by very very few, and I am one of them. I want to wholeheartedly thank Dr. T. Kim for allowing me to be his patient, and also want to thank all his staff for taking care of my necessary needs and answering all my questions. ??????
