Dr. Terrence Francis McCoy

I think Dr Mccoy was the best Doctor I have ever went to. He know what he is doing nd he was right about everything he told me and it made we well. He should start his pratice back up right away so he can help more people again.

Terry saved my late husbands life we had been going to another doctor on route 125 and he was not being a very good doctor.First visit to Dr MCcoy he did a physical on Max and found he had a malanoma on his back and told that if it had not found he would not have lived 3 years. Terry is a fantastic doctor and he is wondeeful with his patients.

What a Great Doctor!!!!

Terry McCoy has been my parents family doctor for many years. At one time he was mine as well, but insurance doesn't always let you stay with who you want to. This year my mother was diagnosed with cancer, which she beat. Terry was always there for her, my father and my sister and I as my mother struggled through treatment. While he was not her cancer care provider, he was always there with a funny joke when that was exactly what was needed or the reassurance that she would survive if she just kept up the fight.Shortly after my mother was declared free of cancer, my father began to feel very tired and dragged out. On the day my father had an appointment with Terry later in the day, my mother called him at 6 AM in the morning on his cell because my father was doing so badly. Terry met the both of them at his office by 6:30 AM and promptly had my dad admitted to the hospital. Sadly my father was found to have only a week or two to live. When Terry and the oncologist told my… mother, my sister and I the bad news, my mother asked who was going to tell dad. I spoke up through a cloud of tears and said I would. Terry, who had developed an absolutely wonderful patient/doctor friendship with my father, looked up and said, "No son should have to tell his father he is dying, I'll tell him". Later that day Terry did just that with all of us present. The compassion, combined with the humor my father and he shared over many years, made a very difficult time better. After my father was moved to Hospice, Terry stopped by several times, made sure the pain medications were sufficient and that my dad and all of us were comfortable.Terry McCoy is more than your normal doctor who only knows you by reading your chart a few moments before he enters the room. He knows who you are because he cares. He's pretty funny too....

I totally trust Dr. McCoy, he knows his stuff! He is a great Doctor and hasn't let me down. I also appreciate his sense of humor which is very rare in a Doctor.

I have doctored with Dr. McCoy since 2004. He always remembers medical history, knows recent and remote details that today is becoming a rare find in a good doctor. Always makes me feel secure and confident. Knows medications, interactions without hesitation. Comedic relief is an added bonus. He takes time to listen and is never dismissive. I would never think about going to someone else and again last week he proved again why he is one of a kind. So, he needs a huge pat on the back as he often doesn't get the kudos he deserves...thanks Doc!!!

The best diagnostician I have ever been to.

Dr. McCoy is a good doctor and does know his stuff. I've been to many doctors and he is a keeper. I just wish his staff cared a little more about the patients. It can also be hard to get in to see him at times.
