He has taken care of me since I was a child and is so kind and front staff is so amazing and they even helped me get over my fear of needles

Hes a good dr and knowledgeable he well talk to you about anything you need or concerns and he rushed my daughter to the ER when need too

We took our firstborn there for four years, constantly dealing with rude and idiotic medical staff (aside from Dr. Pick and his head nurse). We would always wait way too long to be seen. On a more serious note, Dr. Pick inaccurately diagnosed my son with a skin condition that I clearly knew he did not have. It was not a serious condition and did not require medical treatment, but that was the last straw. Sweet man, but we couldn't take any more.

I love Dr. Pick but to wait over 2 hours after your appointment time is unreal! I found when i make them early in the morning the wait is not as long. His front office staff is very unfriendly they pretend you don't exist and you can never reach the office to make an appointment half the time the answering machine is always on even during office hours. Dr. Pick may not spend over 20 min with us at a time but he makes my kid's feel comfortable and at ease, and always answers any questions i have and his back office staff is very friendly and helpful. But his front office needs to be changed. based on just his front office and because they are the first impression you have i would have to give a lower rating.

Every time I visit this office the staff is beyond rude to say the least. It's unfortunate because they make Dr Pick look bad based on the way they treat people. They have awful attitudes and seem as though they hate their job! Customer Service is very important in any office and when that is lacking, the business suffers. The staff lacks willingness to help and the ability to be courteous. The wait time is typically several hours. When the Dr finally comes in no matter how many years he has seen the patient, you have up describe the whole life story once again which delays the appointment even more. Then if prescriptions are prescribed it is rare that they get sent to the pharmacy without calling for an entire month begging for the prescription to be sent. It's a terrible experience every time and needs to be reported to the state board! This office should be shut down immediately before a child gets hurt from not getting the proper medication in time!

I have seen Dr. Pick for two of my children and I always get outstanding care from his office. He does not rush and always answers any questions and makes you feel at ease. I have always gotten a call back from him directly even after hours well after his office closed for the day and would highly recommend him to anyone here in San Antonio.

We have been taking our son to Dr. Pick since right after he was born. The first appointment we called and told them we were running a few minutes late. They told us that if we were more than 10 minutes late we would have to reschedule. First of all my son was my first child, we were still trying to get a routine together, AND he was a c-section, and I was connected to a wound vac and having a hard time moving around. Secondly, we chose Dr. Pick at the advice of a friend, and still chose him regardless of the fact that we were driving 20 miles just to get there. So we rushed to get there which was the first flag. Every single time we've been there after that (My son is now 17 months old) we have had to wait in the lobby for insane amounts of time. And then you get that sense of relief when they call you to the back. Baby gets weight taken and is measured, and then you are put in a patient room....and you wait....and wait...and wait. Finally Dr. Pick comes in. He is an… extremely nice person and definitely deters the feeling from the rude staff. However, he will spend approximately 5 minutes in the room with us before my son is toted off to another room to get shots. Something that literally took maybe half an hour including if we had to wait after his shots, would end up taking an hour and a half to two hours. I know I can't possibly be the only parent there that has a job. Also after reading another review on here, I can agree as far as being made to wait outside. I've been there were it is even 5 minutes after their lunch breaks and they haven't opened the door yet. At this point I've finally decided to switch pediatricians. I think the most irritating thing is he doesn't spend any real time with my son when we go there.

Iâ??ve been taking my daughter to Dr. Pick since she was new born. Dr.Pick is very nice but the way he practices is questionable. There have been a couple of times where I have questioned his diagnosis and for peace of mind went to an emergency clinic to get a second opinion. One of those times I took my daughter in because she was screaming every time she drank anything. I took her to Dr.Pick and he stated she had an ear infection and that her throat looked fine. It made no sense to me considering my daughter slightly opened her mouth for him so I highly doubt that he even saw the back of her throat. I took her to the EC the next day and she was diagnosed with hand foot and mouth disease which causes sores on the hands feet and mouth/throat. The Dr. at the EC actually looked at the back of my daughterâ??s throat and offered me to look as well and sure enough she had several sores on her throat, the Dr. also took a look in her ears and said they looked fine. It was very upsetting that… he didnâ??t catch this and makes me think what else has been misdiagnosed. The Staff I think is absolutely rude! I am never acknowledged right away when I walk up the desk not even an â??Iâ??ll be right with you.â?? I was told I cannot schedule an apt ahead of time (Ex: for boosters) and I would have to call around when sheâ??s due. Iâ??m sorry but I donâ??t really know a childâ??s exact vaccine schedule and isnâ??t it their job to help remind when she is due? I donâ??t feel welcome at all when I go. I work in the medical field as well and I know that client service is high priority so I have high expectations. I have had enough of this clinic and I will be changing my daughters PCP ASAP!

I don't have a problem with dr pick he's really good with my kids and makes sure to address my concerns, the front staff however needs proper training they are rude and pretty much ignore you even when your trying to make appointments they make you feel as if your bothering them, they have messed my appointments 3 times so far they forget to put my kids on the scedule my son has had to wait a month for a follow up visit because they forget to add him in, even though they give you an appointment card. He just needs new staff working in the front, they are the first people you meet and if I wanted to be ignored and treated poorly I would have stayed married to my ex husband.
