I had an endoscope done by Dr. Thelma W. Lucas last Wednesday. I must say, if you're looking for a doctor that knows her stuff and the skills to enter your stomach, she's the one. Everything that doctors are required to warn about before and after the scope did not occur. I emerged from the procedure without a sore throat, no blood vomited, and no black stool, which means she was skilled and gentle. Thank you, Dr. Thelma W. Lucas.

Wound up in hospital with aspiration pneumonia. Acted like no big deal.

This person is everything a doctor should not be. She should not be in the profession of caring for people. Doesnt take the time to explain things and is not very knowledgeable about basic liver diseases even though she is billed as a liver specialist. If you are in the West GA area and need a gastro doc, you would be better served to see anyone but her.

This doctor was worst doctor I ever have come across.. She is cold and completely uncaring ..I was faced with an unknown illness that she was not aggressive in trying to diagnose..her staff at the Newnan office was completely rude and unprofessional..I really feel bad for anyone under her care facing a serious illness..I'm happy to say I have found another doctor that has taking a caring and professional approach to my treatment..I thank the LORD everyday for finding him.
