Dr. Theodore M. Schnitzler, DO

Went to Smyrna ER bc of swelling in knee and foot and was in considerable discomfort. Dr. Schnitzler made me feel like I was wasting his precious time and made me feel uneasy. He told me to immobilize it and prescribed anti-inflammatory meds. He failed to prescribe the recommended brace he suggested. When my regular orthopedic Dr. Unexpectedly didn't return to his office the following Monday( visited er previous Thursday), iI returned to dr. Schnitzler at the er so that he could extend my prescriptions (which as he pointed out, weren't narcotics). He came in and just smiled and asked why I was there. I told him I couldn't see my dr. Bc he was out of the office to which he responded that this wasn't an emergency & any dr. Dr. Could have prescribed more medication. I explained to him that I didn't currently have a family dr. & that NO dr. Will write prescriptions for a patient they haven't see, to which he smirked and made some ridiculous & inappropriate comment about prescription for… his daughter in Chicago (well dah, she's ur daughter. How does that relate to my situation? His demeanor was cocky, condescending & rude & I hope I never encounter him again, regardless of his credentials & experience!
