Dr. Theresa M. Derickson, MD

A lifelong resident of Butler County, Teri Derickson, M.D., is excited to serve the community she calls home. Since finishing her residency training at Cincinnati Childrens, she has been a member of the Group Health team. As a pediatrician at the West Chester Trihealth location, Dr. Derickson treats pediatric and adolescent patients, from newborns through the age of 18, for a variety of common acute and chronic medical conditions, including: common childhood illnesses (ex.: viral infections, ear infections, rashes), well-child visits and sports physicals, chronic conditions such (asthma, allergies, obesity, etc.), acute injuries and wound care and school/mental health problems (ADHD, depression/anxiety, etc.). Dr. Derickson believes that children can only be treated in the context of their home environment and emphasizes the involvement and partnership of both caregivers and patients alike, as there is no one-size-fits-all approach to parenting and medical care. As a parent herself, …she is acutely aware of the challenges of raising kids in the digital age, advocating for your child's education, and balancing professional and parenting responsibilities. More than anything, Dr. Derickson's goal is to provide whatever support her families need-both acutely and long term-to raise happy, successful children.In her free time, Dr. Derickson enjoys traveling with her family, walking her dogs, and shuttling kids from band to scouts to sports practices
