Dr. Teresa Carol Heatly

Had a coughing problem due to pneumonia. I saw the PA, Larissa 3 times over a year, never saw the doctor. Prescribed inhalers, anti-acid and blood test. Did have a Catscan that showed some nodules, but needed to rescan in 6 months. PA said there was nothing further she could do! Hard to believe it. Four months later, I went to allergy doctor to see if they could diagnose anything. Doctor did a simple breathing treatment on me and I can breathe for the first time in a year! Had the Dr. Heatly’s PA directed me to the doctor, I believe she would have helped me. If you go Dr. Heatly office, do not see Larissa.

Dr. Heatly has treated me & my COPD since 2011. She is the coolest Doc I've ever had. She takes the time to listen, and that helps the process a lot.

Dr Heatley is excellent and gets a 5 star. the office gets 3 stars at best. Trying to get through to actually talk with someone is difficult. My big complaint is lack of knowledge. There is a Lung cancer screening CT scan for free annually for ex-smokers. It's free - and it does not require insurance approval...like a mammogram. This office knows nothing about it- I was told that I just didn't understand how insurance works. I told her I certainly did know and she got snotty with me. She ordered the wrong CT scan - which I knew would happen so the radiologist is calling the office to get it corrected. Question: how can a pulmonologist office NOT know about this free CT scan? Shouldn't they be advising their patients about it?

This women should not be practicing medicine!! She said my mother had COPD, after a year with a chronic cough and being prescribed inhalers after inhalers I took her to her primary doctor (thank god for him) and he sent her for an x-ray. My mother has stage 4 lung cancer. I called and called Dr. Heatly but never received a call back. You should be ashamed of yourself!! Would you have treated your mother in the same manner? I would think not or should I say I would hope not. Now I have to continue to watch my mother suffer. If you wouldn't have wasted a year on inhalers maybe my mom would have had a chance!

This was my first visit with Dr. Teresa Heatly Pulmonary Associates, Dr. Heatly is an amazing doctor. She put me at ease right away and took the time to explain each and every test result with me. She asked if I had any questions for her or any concerns, I would like to discuss with her. I left her office, with a feeling I had just had an appt. with a doctor who truly cared about ME and my health. I would recommend her to anyone. She is an excellent pulmonary doctor.

Dr Heatly is very professional and extremely educated on pulmonary health while being so compassionate and down to earth. She is my favorite doctor!

Dr. Heatly is a wonderful doctor. She cares about her patients, takes a personal interest in them and their well being. She is kind, considerate and direct. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Heatly is one of the most caring and down to earth doctors I have ever met. Having a rather rare condition, she listened to all of my concerns and questions and when needed, did the research to answer any questions that I had. I was completely comfortable in her office and confident that I was getting the treatment and care that I needed. I always felt that she actually cared about me and would do whatever necessary to help me.
