I had an exceptional visit with Dr. Verstraeten. His exam was comprehensive and he took the time to explain the results of the exam and to give me further guidance for the future. He is personable and caring as were the other staff members that I encountered. Highly recommend.

I was the last patient of the day after waiting for over an hour. He did apologize for the long wait. However, I felt the exam was rushed and he did not listen to me as I tried to explain my symptoms. I am thinking of getting a second opinion. He did spend a considerable amount of time with the patient across the hall from me. Would not feel comfortable seeing him again.

I experienced a serious eye problem after being diagnosed with CRVO. I credit Dr. Verstraeten with saving eyesight. He is an excellent physician with a good bedside manner. While it is true that the wait can be longer than one typically experiences in a doctor office, my eyesight is definitely worth the time spent waiting for him. I highly recommend Dr. Verstraeten.

Dr V did surgery to correct a problem on my detached retina, which was caused from a previous Dr. I so appreciated the care I received. He is presently taking care of a problem my husband is having and we think he is the best. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

My second visit with Dr. Verstraten was three weeks after my first. He started with, "Have I seen you before?". Obviously he hadn't looked at my chart. Not a comforting feeling.

I have been seeing this Dr. for a problem after cataract surgery. I love the doctor. However my last visit my appt was at 10:30, I was placed in the doctor's room at 12:00 and everyone left until 12:47---EVERYONE..they went to lunch and forgot about me. The office visit was over three hours. Unacceptable.

Though fearful of the first treatment, Dr. Verstraeten was so assuring and caring, that all concerns were immediately dismissed and I've never hesitated having the future treatments.I'd would highly recommend him.
