Dr. Thomas David Bloom, MD

I have been Dr. Bloom’s patient for about 20 years. His exams are extremely thorough and he is always happy to answer all of my questions. The wait is normally about 10 minutes to see him, which I really appreciate. I have referred family and friends to him over the years, and they think that he is exceptional too. His staff is great and they have an on-site optical shop. One stop shopping.

I accidentally bumped my eye and was very nervous that I had done something to the cataract implant. I reported the situation and was told to please come in immediately. Both Dr. Bloom and his staff couldn’t of been more accommodating, concerned, or helpful. This office along with their leader makes you feel that you are valued and important and instills confidence.

After 24 hours following cataract surgery on my second eye, I woke up able to see without glasses! I have had the most incredible experience and result. Dr. Bloom is the miracle worker. He is accessible at all times, and it is a pleasure to have someone like Dr. Bloom operate on one's most precious asset, your eyes. His office staff is helpful and pleasant, and going through the process form beginning to end has only been a positive experience. I would highly recommend to anybody considering cataract surgery.

Has cataract surgery in late 3028 and it was a disaster. Could not use that eye and was forced to wear a patch until another surgeon corrected the damage. No help from the the original surgery, just reminded that I signed a surgical waiver and if things go bad, it is not his problem.

Dr. Bloom performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes -- one month apart. The surgery went perfect and my eyes healed quickly and nicely with no complications. Dr. Bloom consulted with me prior to the surgery and prepared me for what was to come. Post surgery he gave me a complete eye exam, instructions on medication and scheduled additional post surgery follow-ups. The entire process could not have gone better. I give Dr. Bloom an A+ and would recommend anyone to him.

I saw Dr. Bloom for what I thought was an emergency. My regular, Dr. Fabric, was out of town. My eye was all bloody red. Dr. Bloom's office got me in right away. Everyone: the receptionist, the nurse, and Dr. Bloom were so nice!! I was reassured that my eye would be fine, and it is. I was scared and Dr. Bloom took the time I needed to make me feel better. I am pleased that I see Dr. Fabric and now Dr. Bloom if needed.

I had been looking to have cataract surgery for a while. A friend had Dr. Bloom do his cataract surgery and was very happy with their results. I found it easy to make an appointment. The staff was very kind and helpful. The procedure was explained to me and all my questions were answered. The procedure was easy and everyone at the hospital was wonderful. I am extremely happy with my results and would highly recommend Dr. Bloom and his office.

I had Cataract surgery in both eyes in late 2018 from Dr. Bloom and I am extremely pleased with the outcome. I had no complications at all, and I see better than I ever have in my life. I felt that Dr. Bloom was an excellent surgeon and gave very good follow up care. I am so grateful to him for giving me the gift of good eyesight.

Had cataract surgery in late 2018, I have no medical conditions or eye problems besides a cataract. Being young with a cataract (60 years old)I was lead to believe all should be fine, after all this is my eye! After surgery I lost nearly all sight in the eye. A month later my eyesight is 20x' s worse than it was with the cataract. Now I am referred to a high priced eye surgical specialist to repair the eye. All I am told is that I "signed the waver before surgery" and the cost for the first and additional surgeries are my problem - no help at all. So I have a nearly useless eye, bills to pay, future bills and an unsure vision prognosis due to issues arising from the cataract surgery that went bad. Knowing what I know today, and the lack of making this right after a bad surgery, my choice would be different.
